Cuisines: Ice Cream
Dining options: Late Night
Description: A stone's throw from the Ponte Vecchio, this gelateria opened up 1 month ago serves the perfect mint ice cream. The fior de panna (cream) and fresh mint leaves is nothing like your standard neon green industrial strength flavored mint ice creams. We went back (and again) to taste this hand crafted sublime delight.

Remember the basic point of being in florence is daily gelato breaks. This one's small, and apparently new. I got the chocolate orange (spectacular) and something called remembranza which was a berry mix. Latter might be too tart for some, I loved it. My wife got scoops of gianduia and coconut.

After a week in this iceloving city, we found this gelateria by chance. What a pleasant surprise! Lovely icecream, and in fact cheap. We'll be back!

Gelato della Passera is the best gelato shop in Florence -- or maybe in all of Italy. On this trip I learned that the best gelato is not the bright, colorful, eye-catching mounds displayed in the shops on the well-traveled streets in Florence, but the more natural colors in the smaller shops where the gelato is homemade and the ingredients... We live locally in Florence. We eat this gelato every day. On weekends and in the middle of the day, there is always a line . Everyone is happy to stand in line to sample this gelato. They have both gelato with and without milk (latte). Every flavor they serve is delicious. Be sure to try to almond (mandorla), zabaglione,... More

There's a reason this hidden Gelateria has received such high praise. Made from fresh pure ingredients, they offer ten flavours. We managed to try six of them. I only wish we had gone back to try the remaining four. We particularly liked the yogurt and earl grey ones. The host was happy and helpful. Should you pass within several blocks... More

Best gelato I have ever encountered. Extremely fresh ingredients and wonderful staff. Every flavor is delicious, and they even have alcoholic gelato! Wonderful little area to sit down and relax.

It's not a normal ice cream. It's really made with fresh fruits every morning by the wonderful CINZIA ! I suggest to try PISTACCHIO....lovely! After the ice cream take a coffee on Caffe' degli artigiani.

We stumbled on this charming tiny gelato shop on the way back from Palazzo Pitti. The gelato was so yummy and only 1 euro per scoop! Highly recommend a stop here when in Florence!

Want fresh light not overly sweet gelato made daily for only 1 Euro a scoop? Then don't miss this gelateria. It is a 10 minute walk from my apartment near Ponte Vespucci. As noted they are open late, until midnight. My favorite flavor so far is kiwi. It is if you blended (not to puree stage) kiwis, added a bit... More
