A stone's throw from the Ponte Vecchio, this gelateria opened up 1 month ago serves the perfect mint ice cream. The fior de panna (cream) and fresh mint leaves is nothing like your standard neon green industrial strength flavored mint ice creams. We went back (and again) to taste this hand crafted sublime delight.

Best Gelatto in Florence

This was not only the best gelato in Florence, probably the best during out trip to Italy. Very cute place, in a charming piazza over Ponte Vecchio. I wish I could remember the flavors, some of them were a little more interesting, but we stuck with the tried and true.

I went there because we were leaving Florence that very day, and we couldn't leave without a last taste of a florentine gelato! We asked locals for the best in town and they told us to go there, so we did. When we finally got there, we were impressed by all the little streets we discovered, and by the small... More

Our Air B and B hostess recommended this shop near our apartment and it was fantastic. We went at least once a day! They make the gelato in house and the flavors were so fresh -- loved the Mona Lisa and the orange chocolate. There was always a line out the door, but it moved quickly. The shop is tiny!!... More

After living in Florence for a few months and trying out many gelato places I have to say this is my favorite gelato place. It is in a small quaint piazza across the river and is a little challenging to find but it is worth it!

It is probably the best ice cream I've ever had! So good I went back every day! This Gelateria is located very close to the Ponte Vecchio. Must try the Pink Grapefruit, The Rose, The Caffe and... all!!!

This hand made on the premises, organic ice cream is delicious, but still not very expensive at €1 a scoop. It is a tiny little shop. It is probably the best ice cream I've ever had! I had two scoops, one of pistachio and one of a mixed flavour called Mona Lisa. Both were wonderful. There was a short queue... More

One word review...WOW. A single scoop in a tiny cup is all one needs as the flavor is bright, clear, fresh and wonderful. Get the lemon and you will be very happy. A mint fan? Try the chocolate mint. If you have ever eaten a mint leaf right off of a plant then you will be able to anticipate the... More

Best gelato of our trip and cheaper than the other places we tried. We had chocolate and pistachio and the flavours are really rich and the texture is silky smooth.

On a tiny "Square" that really isn't, & just a stone's throw from Pitt Palace, off Guiciardini here you'll find genuine, artisnal gelato at Firenze's lowest prices..try a single cone for,,,ONE EURO! Its a baby shop that part of the great coffee shop operation opposite..& adjacent to another of Firenze's greatest dining secrets> 4Lions, this is well worth the short... More
