A stone's throw from the Ponte Vecchio, this gelateria opened up 1 month ago serves the perfect mint ice cream. The fior de panna (cream) and fresh mint leaves is nothing like your standard neon green industrial strength flavored mint ice creams. We went back (and again) to taste this hand crafted sublime delight.

Best ice cream in Florence

This hand made on the premises, organic ice cream is delicious, but still not very expensive at €1 a scoop. It is a tiny little shop. It is probably the best ice cream I've ever had! I had two scoops, one of pistachio and one of a mixed flavour called Mona Lisa. Both were wonderful. There was a... read more

One word review...WOW. A single scoop in a tiny cup is all one needs as the flavor is bright, clear, fresh and wonderful. Get the lemon and you will be very happy. A mint fan? Try the chocolate mint. If you have ever eaten a mint leaf right off of a plant then you will be able to anticipate the... More

Best gelato of our trip and cheaper than the other places we tried. We had chocolate and pistachio and the flavours are really rich and the texture is silky smooth.

On a tiny "Square" that really isn't, & just a stone's throw from Pitt Palace, off Guiciardini here you'll find genuine, artisnal gelato at Firenze's lowest prices..try a single cone for,,,ONE EURO! Its a baby shop that part of the great coffee shop operation opposite..& adjacent to another of Firenze's greatest dining secrets> 4Lions, this is well worth the short... More

I don't eat many sweets at home, but when I'm traveling and walking 5-10 miles a day, I feel like I can indulge a little. My number one indulgence in Italy? Gelato. But it has to be excellent gelato to justify all those calories. Gelateria della Passera serves the absolute best gelato I have ever tasted in Florence— perhaps in... More

Delicious ice cream to be had at a very reasonable price of 1€ per scoop. It's also away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy bits of Florence, with a nice square to sit and eat you ice creams in!

This was the best gelato we had in all of the Italy! So good! This hole in the wall is uncrowded, worth a trip across the Ponte Vecchio, and was beyond amazing. The ingredients are fresh, and the choices are so unique. I had one flavor with rum raisins and nuts, while the fruit flavors had real fruit with interesting... More

This Gelateria is located in one of the best piazzas in Florence. It is surrounded by restaurants, bars, shops, galleries and more. It is very close to the Ponte Vecchio and far superior to the gelato stores there. Must try the Choc Orange and the Fresh Mint!

This gelAto shop is super nice! It's very small but that's okay. My favorite flavors were the lavender, mint, and raspberry sorbet!! Definitely try it

We found this gelatetria on our way from Ponte Santa Trinita to Palazzo Pitti. I took only two flavours- pistachio and almond (1 euro each) but I believe that the other ones are as amazing as these two. My favourite one out of two is the almond flavour - I have never eaten such an amazing ice cream - its... More
