Stopped in at this cafe, which is just on northeast side the Ponte Vecchio on the way to buy gold on the bridge and see the Boboli Garden at the Pitti Palace. Good pizza, and my wife had a tasty tuna (Mediterrano) salad which was fresh and tasty. We ordered chianti Classico and the owner opened a new bottle just... More

Very recommended! It was a spontaneous decision to walk in... And we got one of the best ice creams we have ever tried. Looking forward to coming back!

We stopped by one evening while we were visiting in Florence to try some more gelato. We were very pleasantly surprised by the variety of flavors! My husband loves coconut & choc and theirs did not disappoint! I had the Strawberry & lemon and loved it. We sat outside and enjoyed the sunset on the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. A... More

I was here on a schooltrip (March-April 2009) and our director of the school recommended this place. I've tasted a lot of ice creams in my life in Italy and I must say this was one of the best I've eaten. Our director was right! We've been there twice and the first time I took the flavours "Crem tiramisù con... More

I had just exited my taxi on the ponte devecchio in Florence. I was robbed losing my money, phone and charge cards. I was alone and went into the gelatteria. I asked who spoke English and a woman behind the counter spoke to me . I had nothing except the phone number for the B and B where I had... More

Stopped off here briefly for an ice cream on a hot day due to the good variety of what looked like very nice ice cream. Was not disappointed as the flavours were very good and you got a reasonable amount. 7 euros was not cheap, but we had paid 8 for two ice creams half the size in the same... More

A small simple café right outside the Hotel Hermitage, with outside tables, this is well placed for a morning or late afternoon coffee, tea, or glass of wine when you aren't in the mood to be in the hotel: lots of people watching, good service, excellent paninis !

We often skip lunch, opting for a small breakfast and nice dinner, but we always stop for a drink and desert or ice cream during the day instead. This place worked out really well for us, they had a nice selection of gelatos (which a richer than ice creams) and we were able to sit and rest our aching feet... More
