We tried the one closer to duomo and the price was better than some of the other places. The limone was refreshing and the coffee and tiramisu were enjoyed by my husband.

This one is located just a touch off the beaten path. One block away from the bridge crossing the River Arno into PIazza Santa Trinita (and the Gelateria of the same name), its not a location tourists are guaranteed to pass. However, between these two Gelato shops there is some serious competition for the gelato crowd. I think I slightly... More

In town with gelato everywhere you look. Thus place stands out, super creamy and tiny prices. Well worth the trip across the Arno

We live in Florence and have tried many of the gelato shops here, and Carraia has been our favorite from the beginning. We have yet to find another place where the gelato is as creamy and the value so good. Add that to the fact that my two young children got caught in a freak hail storm today just near... More

Went here for Gelato on a friend's recommendation, whilst strolling through the streets of Florence. Not much to say really except that the ice cream is very good and you should try it if in Florence.

This gelato is the best in Florence! It is reasonably priced in comparison to other side of bridge! The gelato is also generous! Very popular

The Gelateria la Carraia is just a block away from the Gelateria Santa Trinita. There is an ongoing battle as which has the best gelato in Florence. It's a tough decision to make as both have excellent quality. We voted for Santa Trinita but only because they had a wider variety of choices. Try them both and enjoy.

Amazing gelato in Florence, and only 1 euro for a small cone. On the other side of the river, but not a far walk by any means. Definitely worth the trip!

During my second trip to Florence my family and I ran into this wonderful place and it quickly became our favorite gelato place of the trip! There is a one taste limit on the gelato but the favors make up for it. The favorite flavor of the group was the dark chocolate and I recommend paring it with the mint.... More
