Nice little find

Food was impressive and very tasty. Staff were a little off at first but generally helpful. I would definitely recommend

We felt a bit silly going for Oriental food in Florence, but fancied a change. Buddakan really exceeded our expectations. All the food was clearly made from scratch and tasted fresh and delicious. How you get crispy cold iceberg lettuce in a hot deep fried spring roll is anyone's guess! Dinner for two (2 starters, 2 mains, 2 sides, steamed... More

Then Buddakan is the perfect choice. Located at the right side of Santa Croce church facade, just at the beginning of Via San Giuseppe is a perfect stroll to a very satisfactory ambiance and menu. Many Asian cuisines are nicely represented and all at their best.

After 10 days in Italy, we were getting tired of Pizza's and Pasta's and fast food. Wanted a change of palette and discovered this gem of a place in Florence. The place is on the right side of Santa Croce Church and you cant miss the board. They have Chinese, Thai and Japanese menu. We tried the Chinese and thai... More

If you are craving Thai Fried Rice this may be the place to go. We just got the Thai Fried Noodles and the Thai Fried Rice at only €6,00 each it was not a bad deal and no cover charge for take out. Personally we enjoyed the rice a lot more than the noodles. Only wished that the rice had... More

Florence doesn't have the best selection of Asian cousin. However Buddakan fulfilled all of my asian cravings. Really good price for a lot of food! A must go if you are in the mood for Asian.

This is one of the best meals I have had in Florence. It's hard to find non-italian cuisines that are quality food and atmosphere, and I was shocked after having a delicious meal that the bill was so little. I strongly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for something other than basic pasta and Italian dishes. 5 stars all the... More

I've been here twice. The first time, about a year ago, was a pleasant surprise. The food choice was excellent and, even though the restaurant was packed, the service was quick and courteous. I ordered all Korean food and it was very tasty. So, I had no problems coming back a second time. The excellent menu is still there and... More
