We arrived in Florence, Italy on August 27. This was our first meal - pizza and wine. We split a margarita pizza for lunch because we were not sure how big they would be. One person can easily eat one pizza. Very thin crust, great toppings. We had the house wine. We ended up returning two more times for dinner.... More

We had an excellent meal here, the service and food were excellent, probably the best among some excellent meals we had in Florence, the only downside was that we were surrounded by smokers which would not have happened had we eaten inside the restaurant instead of out

We only dine at Tripadvisor restaurants no matter where we travel. Saw the sign in the window and had lunch there today and it was just ok! The eggplant Parm was wonderful but my husband had the special 17 euro and it was not that good - pork with potatoes and spagetti. Would not recommend this place if you are... More

We read the menu's around and it looked OK so we picked this - we wish we hadn't - the food was no where near the standard expected from Italy and the service compounded this - our wine and water ran out halfway through our meal and no one came near to ask if we needed more or if the... More

We ate here in the two hours spare before our flight left. If I had reviewed this restaurant on arrival it would have scored better but we have been spoilt by stunning food and service at reasonable prices. We had three pizzas and a calzone. Service was friendly and efficient and the food was also of a good standard. My... More

There is no such thing as a bad meal Italy but some just aren't as amazing as others. We had lunch here one day as trattoria mario was closed. Was okay but nothing amazing. We had the cold cuts to start & 2 different pastas. Can't remember the pastas as they were nothing to write home about!

We really struggled in Florence to find really great places to eat, and we stumbled across this place when actually looking for another restaurant which happened to be closed. We were really fortunate we did too. The homemade pasta was delicious; I ordered the Pappardelle al Cinghiale. The pasta was really well made and the sauce was flavoursome without being... More

Me with my wife had a lunch there. I enjoyed the risotto with seafood pretty much, my wife had ravioli with ricotta cheese and pear which also had our approval. Nice location, pretty close to lots of sights and comfy terrace make this place a worthy point in "to go" checklist.

Nice little area around the 'Mercato' building. I was worried to fall into a tourist trap but based on TA reviews chose this restaurant and we were not disappointed. Nice location, good atmosphere, friendly service, and good food.
