Stumbled upon it & they took great care of us!!

We walked in at peak dinner time around 8pm & asked if there was a chance of getting our group of 5 seated. At first he said he didn't think so, but then said wait about 10 minutes & he could. We waited, and we were not disappointed! We also ran into the head priest for the Duomo there, so... read more

Great italian food for fair prices. Not the cheapest, but definitely not the most expensive. Roughly $7-$12 euros per meal. Very high quality food. Try the meatballs, salads, or pasta. Location is also amazing!

On our last night in Florence we decided to try this place as it was just round the corner and very local to us, also there seems to be a lot of hype about the Gusto's It didn't live up to that hype in our opinion I'm afraid. We got sat down straight away which was a plus, although it... More

Met a colleague who said you can find good food in the piazza near Santo Spirito across the Arno from Florence, where all the students on summer abroad trips stay. We walked there and into Gusta Osteria, where we ordered: Vegetable flan with gorgonzola cheese, Rocket salad, pappa al pomodoro, grilled vegetables, a glass of Chianti and a Birra Media.... More

Ate dinner outdoors on May 8. Very enjoyable dining with excellent service and a good meal. We had chicken with roasted potatoes and spinach and a meat ball entree that was the best I've ever tasted. Truly a treat. Reservations a must if you want to eat outdoors.

Situated next to the Sunday market, we were surprised by the quality and value of the meals. We ordered half portions for main course, and they were amazing. The rabbit with tomatoes and olives was outstanding.

Unable to get into the pizzeria next door, so we settled for this place. We were delighted! It is a very tiny osteria on a side street near the Pitti Palace and well worth seeking out. Food was excellent and the best we had in Florence in 5 days. Service was quick. Gnocchi was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Excellent sausage ravioli and we split a T-bone steak that was very good, couldnt tell a difference from american steak. Wine was just OK.
