Good Italian cooking

We dined here lunchtime with friends and our small children. The staff are very friendly and the food is authentic Italian cooking. The restaurant is located in a beautiful , calm piazza, we had a lovely lunch!

We were looking for somewhere for lunch before visiting the gardens when we stumbled upon Gusta Pizza which we'd heard was fantastic. Unfortunately it was closed for holidays and the sign on the door directed us here. The food was lovely (especially the gnocchi with pesto), but we found the female waitress to be extremely rude. We were seated outside,... More

Approached a waiter outside the restaurant (which wasnt even busy), tried to ask a question about the menu and he barely acknowledged me, and was extremely rude. Just based on this attitude I would recommend you steer clear...so many more options in Florence with way better service

In a town like Florence, in a region like Tuscany, it's hard to come across really bad food, and so the food at Gusta Osterio was good as well. Nothing new there. If you want to set yourself apart however you really do need to make an effort when it comes to service, and that's where Gusta Ostaria really falls... More

We only stumbled across this restaurant because our AirBnB apartment was around the corner but we were pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious, authentic Italian cooking. In fact, it was so good we ended up dining there a few times. It is in a perfect location, within short walking distance from the old town but away from the tourist traps... More

Gusta Osteria is everything you are looking for in a dining experience in Florence. I was first tipped off to it's existence by my AirBnB host as one of his favorite & most authentic dining experiences. It's located in Piazza Santo Spirito, which means a beautiful view if you dine outside or a lively atmosphere of locals if you come... More

The owners of gusta osteria, gusta pizza, and gusta panini are gods. This group of restaurants, all located on the same street, are the best in class. You might as well just eat at these 3 restaurants while in Firenze. Great service, value, and food quality. You don't come across gems very often - gusta osteria and their sister restaurants... The menu changes weekly, so it's always exciting to eat at Gusta Osterria. They make great gnocci, ravioli, spagehtti, I could go on for days. The atmosphere is comfortable outside and inside and it makes a great spot for a quick dinner. Oh and the service is fantastic, in a country where customer service is not top priority I've had...
