A great find - generous quantties

We were lucky to get in here for lunch as they were very busy. We were almost turned away but the owner kindly found us. A seat. It's very small and quaint with limited tables so you may end up sharing a table which is always great to meet new people when travelling. The house wine was the best... read more

The atmosphere was fantastic and the food even better. Classic, simple and full of flavour. Service was excellent and cost was very modest given the quality of the meals

Don't miss the meatballs! The food, hospitality and service was the best we had anywhere. Make sure to eat here! Our waitress was so great and one of the owners spent the time to sit with on a really busy night and gave us free wine and limoncello, it couldn't have been a better experience, I wish we ate here... Highly recommend this low key, relaxed osteria. Special pasta of the day was bigolli with wild boar and it was delicious. Rocket, pine nuts, tomato and grana cheese was also great. House wine was really nice and just €6 for half a litre. Service was prompt and relaxed, as you'd expect in an osteria. Would happily return.

I expected more from this place. The stuff is friendly and accommodating. We were a party if 4. Two of us liked the soup. The other two did not. The portions were bi. The Chianti Classico Clemente VII was good. If all other places are not available, it's an ok place.

Very nice place, we were late customers and the personnel was rather loud/unsettling... which marred a bit the cosy atmosphere. Food was very good and the wine recommendation too

Possibly our favorite restaurant on our trip to Italy. The service was great and the value was excellent. We had a great meal and at the end shared a fex drinks with the owner. He was very nice and made us feel very welcome. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling through Florence!

If you are looking for a cheap, fantastic plate of gnocchi in Florence, this is 100% your spot. The first time I went, I ordered the pesto gnocchi and I have yet to find a meal I like more after living here for 2 months. Their gnocchi switches out (the gorgonzola and truffle dishes are both also very good) but... More

Really delicious pastas -- we had the pomodoro (simple, sweet, delicious), the lasagna (melt in your mouth good), the tagliatelle with rage and mushrooms (yum), a penne dish that was slightly spicy -- really simple but delicious. Also, really good cheap table wine!
