Steeler's Football in Firenze, Italy

Searched for a Steeler bar in Florence Italy during our month in this great Italian City and found Naima Sports Lounge. Now a Sports Bar in Italy is way different then the multiple big screen TV's in the USA. Naima has two TV's, one a very large plasma and another smaller plasma. But Sergio, the... read more

I have been working/living in Italy for a year and if there's one thing I've learned it's to AVOID THIS BAR. The owner, Sergio is known to sexually harass women and do drugs on the job. The bar smells terrible, and many students have claimed to feel unsafe around Sergio due to his drug use and demeaning manner to women.... More

I didn't eat here- I only went as a pregame. It was crowded to the point of not being able to move which was unpleasant. The wifi doesn't work as it says it does. However, we were able to get good deals on the drinks so that was the biggest bonus. Perfect for american abroad students trying to meet up... More

I saw this bar once on Sunday afternoon. After that first time I went there many many many times during my 2-week stay in Florence. This bar is hyper modern and offers a wide range of drinks and cocktails aswell as very savoury cold and hot snacks. The atmosphere is excellent and this bar is mostly frequented by residents. The... I was lost and went in to ask for directions. After asking to use their wifi, I was asked to "take a walk" in a very rude way by their manager. This place is not run by very friendly people.

I met a friend at Naima one night for drinks. When we arrived around 10:30 in the evening the place was almost empty. The bar staff were friendly and made small talk with my friend, whom they seemed to know. He introduced me to the owner and his girlfriend who also were quite cordial. The sofa seating and low lights... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
