I like the place and have many good memories. Food nice, wine choice really good and not overpriced, sympathetic owner. I love the normality and the happiness I always had.

Stumbled on this restaurant by chance as it was hidden behind road works on a quiet side road near Santa Croce Piazza. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this traditional trattoria > Tuscan food reasonably priced served by friendly & informative staff. Oh and washed down by glass of fine Tuscan red recommended by the head waiter.

We stubbled across this restaurant on our walks for dinner outside the city centre. We were so impressed that we dined there the next day as well. Recommend that you do book. The food is fresh local nouvelle Italian cusine. Taste and presentation are exceptional. Servings are generous. Staff are very helpful and friendly. They have a large selection of... More

Booked the place for local food and a florentine steak. The host (could be the owner or the senior waiter) was very nice having stopped us from ordering 2 antipasti - he said they were enormous, and he was right! We also got suggestions from him on the wine to chose (within our price range), and we didn't regret it!... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The restaurant is of modest size and the service is professional and informative, warm and personal. The food was traditional Italian and most generous in portion size. The prawns with crudites (fennel, orange and tomato) were perfectly cooked, fresh and delicious. The pasta with lamb ragout and porcini was tasty, with springy fresh pasta, and... More

This charming trattioria is placed in a cozy street with many Florence attractions in walking distance. We were drawn in by its nice interior and good wine selection on display. As the restaurant was full the first two times we dropped by, we finally made a reservation. We were not disappointed! And it was worth the third try! We were... More

The waiter really knows his wines... so ASK! Great food and reasonable local prices (not tourist crazy rates). Reservations were not necessary, but some diners said you should make them. The Florentine Steak comes by the hg; you can get it for one person if they have one small enough. Try the Filet with Peppercorns for an alternative beef dish.

We ate here twice whilst on a visit to Florence and quite simply it was not just the best food we ate in Florence but probably the best restaurant I have ever eaten in. The staff are very friendly and are happy to go through the menu with you explaining the dishes available so you can make the best choice.... More

We didn't booked the dinner, yet we got a table on a week day in December. We were good received, mainly by the owner, that was a very friendly person. We start with the "Fried pieces of cornbread with porcini muschrooms" that was really nice. My girlfriend ate the Strips of chicken sauteed with Morellini artichokes and majoram, and I... More

It was random to face this restaurant. Once I looked on it but there was a sign saying :we only have booked customers. However I asked them, it was fine to have lunch so I came in. Not so sure what it was still. Though, all the confusion of the sign at the entrance, I really did have a good... More
