We ate here for lunch and liked it so much, we made reservations for dinner the next evening. This is a small place on the square by the Accademia. Unless you eat early, it's best to have reservations. We had their house wine (chianti) which was great and a good value. There were 4 of us and we all like... More

We had Prosecco at Caffe Accademia. Went for a stroll and returned to lunch at Ristorante Accademia. On the same block within a breath of one another. We arrived promptly at 12 so no need for a reservation. I was a bit jealous that an American table of 8 got all the attention until I learned that the owner of... More

Very good for an evening out. Busy but good. Only downside, no outside patio but inside is romantic. The food and wine makes up for that though. Worth the effort to find it in Piazza San Marco by the bus stop.

Although in a busy square and right around the corner from the Accademia where the David is, don't be put off. The food is very good and lots of locals come in for dinner as well. The room is simple ,clean and welcoming and the pasta is fresh. There is an English menu available. The wine list is very good... More

Of all restaurants I"ve tried in Florenze, Accademia is the best. A smal restaurant with the right atmosphere. Excellent service from the host which also speak english. The food is fantastic at a reasonable price level

As we sat in Piazza San Marco where there was free Wifi, we watched the local teens and looked online for a local restaurant. Right behind us was Ristorante Accademia. I ordered the 4 course meal paired with wine and it was magnificent. Get off the beaten path and try this place! Speak English well and very generous. Get the... More

We ate here our last night in Florence and had an amazing experience. We ordered the wine and dine special with consisted of a four course meal (including desert) with wine pairing. Each course was excellent and the wine perfect. Our waiter was very friendly and added to the overall experience. We highly recommend this to everyone visiting Florence.

Our last meal in Italy was here. We got the set menu with wines. Well first, I drank more wine in that one meal than I drink in a typical month. The food and the wine were great. Each course was Italian but not typical of what one found in other restaurants. Imaginative interpretations. We also had a great waiter.... More

We were walking by this restaurant and decided to check out the menu. Fortunately, another American couple was walking in and they said this place was highly recommended on TripAdvisor. We decided to take a try given we were hungry and wanted to sit for a bit after walking all day. Thank goodness we sat down!!! I had the tagliatelle... More

Visited here on first night in Florence as it was close to our hotel. Not being red wine fans, we opted for the fixed menu without wine (there is one with wine). Great value - good food, including the obligatory beef steak. Efficient friendly staff. The place was very busy - largely with American tourists who seemed very familiar with... More
