I think we visited this gelataria every day we were in Florence! Before dinner, after dinner, on our way to somewhere else ... we just kept going back. There was usually a queue but it was worth waiting for the delicious flavours, especially the sorbets. The staff were great, never seemed to be stressed by all the customers with all... More

Little background- First of all, I regard myself as somewhat of a "ice cream connoisseur", having sampled extensively for over 50 years.;) Secondly, gelato is a fresher, creamier version of our plain vanilla, (not to knock our Texas Blue Bell at all). Third, all gelato is not created equal! Husband & I had a couple of scoops here and WOW,... More

The gelateria is well located, after you buy your portion, you may enjoy the desert sitting on a bridge in front of Ponte Vechio. Nice view. The ice cream is made of high quality ingredients, they are very creamy and the taste is perfect. The only drawback is the price which is pretty high. A normal portion costs 3.5-4€. Despite... More

People told me about another best gelatto in Firenze, but I tried it after I went to this place and in my opinion this one is the BEST GELLATO IN ITALIA, I ate the best icecream in my life here. The red berries (any red berry) are the bests, fresh and ataste explosion in my mouth!

Various tasty gelato flavors with quality. They make it fresh daily. Generous gelato in a cup cost me cheaper price than average stalls. Even the cheapest one allows you to have 2 flavors. Cute decorations made it not just another gelato shop.

A local recommended the gelato shop a few doors down, as "the best" place in town. It's a good thing we trusted our tastebuds and tried again - this shop is superb. Fabulous texture, well thought-out flavors, and excellent quality. We enjoyed banana, chocolate, rum raisin, and lemon among others. Next trip to Florence for us will definitely include this... More

There is a huge selection of ice cream for any taste, though some of them seem to have synthetic flavor agents. Fruit gelato is the best pick, in my opinion. There are also benches inside the shop to rest while enjoying ice cream. In comparison with ice cream we tasted in Pienza shops, I would give this place 4 out... More

The experience of eating the gelato, while looking toward the Ponte Vecchio. Not to be missed. This time, the flavors we picked (mine a watermelon) were a bit repetitive after a bit & I just go for the one euro size. Make sure you get two different flavors. Better that way. It's a Florentine institution and the wait in line... More

We stopped by late one evening for some gelato and saw they had wines for sale so we decided to buy one to drink on one of the platforms on the bridge beside, as we saw several couples enjoying the view from there. The girl behind the counter kindly opened the wine, gave us some plastic cups and told us... More

Simple review - a nice little shop in a great spot, serving some of the finest gelato I have ever tasted. Rich and luxurious, with the just the right texture and huge depth of flavour.
