first visited 10 months ago, it was so good that we came back. and 2 days in a row for dinner. it is a simple family type place with good food, locals as guests (which is always a good sign), the owner is funny and ever present, staff wonderful, food delicious. it is recommended to reserve a table... read more

We went there for our family reunion. The owner was away and left his assistant in charge. He was rude and unattentive. He was more interested in smoking and talking to his friends than taking care of his patrons. The set meal was nothing like what he promised to our guide. It was short changed and cheaper items were put... More

We were enticed by the €15 lunch menu. The local dishes were very average. The service wasn’t too bad. The atmosphere was quiet, located just out of the busy tourist centre. Price was affordable, but quality of food wasn’t fantastic (we had high expectations as it was recommended by our hotel staff). Oddly, the manager was often seen talking to... More

We had a dinner - set meal at this place. The soup( zupa Toscana) was one of the best I have tried in Florence. Chicken dish was dissapointing, aslo we were not offered any garnish to go with it. Wine was good and it clearly seems to be very popular with the locals. So really it will be between 3... More

We stopped in for lunch and were very pleased. It was filled with locals and the waiter was very sensitive to our food restrictions. My friend who needs gluten free food, not the easiest to find in Italy, had the best minestrone soup she has ever had.

Called in as it was busy and managed to get a table after a short wait. The staff were all friendly and helpful with the menu. Had a spicy pasta to start which was delicious and then the chef's special chicken which was equally good. The minestrone soup was excellent also.

Been here a few years back and wanted to try again. Did not disappoint. Informal but good food with reasonable prices. I will go back.

We tried this restaurant on the recommendation of our host. I must say that from the outside the place does not look too fancy but once you're inside you feel the warmth of the staff and it seems to be a popular place to eat. I had the steak and I must say it was one of the best steaks... More

What a nice place...had a wonderful dinner. Here it is not about the little details, no lounge style...but true authentic good local good...and the portions are very generous! The tender is loud and colorful, part of the great experience. Nice meet of course you're in Florence! Prices are very good!...loved it, will come back no doubt!
