Good, tasty food

The food here is very tasty, my lamb was overcooked but still tasty. It isn't the best food I have had in italy, but it probably isn't too far off. The service can't be faulted, the prices are reasonable and it doesn't feel touristy at all. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit when in... read more

I came here and really enjoyed the live jazz music near the duomo that they played. I would recommend to everyone who visits florence.

We visited this restaurant at the recommendation of our hosts while in Florence. The food is great (though pricey)! I had the best risotto I've ever eaten as an appetizer. Our waiter was also very attentive and friendly. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone wondering where they should go for dinner.

After spending the morning shopping, stopped by for some mid afternoon wine. Actually ended up with some of the best pasta in Florence! Thank you to the great staff and owner who came out and actually spent time getting to know us! Love it!

This restaurant is absolutely excellent!!!!! The tortellini and eggplant were the best dishes! Eating outside on a small street and it's nice and quiet. Absolutely no complaints about this restaurant. Have a late lunch there and you won't regret it.

Was recommended to us by hotel reception! The food was excellent, the service was good and the prices reasonable for Florence! The sweats were delicious! We likes it so much that we ate there 2 days in a raw!

Although our hotel had recommended this restaurant, we were hesitant, fearing that - given its location - it would just be a tourist trap. We need not have worried: the food was great (especially the bistecca alla Fiorentina), the service excellent. A proper Tuscan meal, now sadly thousands of miles away…

I ate here a couple of years ago and quite liked it, so decided to go back on a subsequent visit. I ordered a braised dish of wild boar and it was really really salty. too salty in fact to really enjoy. The restaurant was quiet and they put me in an empty room, in a cold draft. I asked... More

The hors d'oeuvres we got were great - good risotto and ravioli. The main course was a T-bone, which had good flavor but was inconsistently cooked. The outside was medium, as requested, but the inside was rare. The service was only ok and we left without ever being sure who our server was.

First things first: I am Italian, born and raised in Rome. The meal "had" at this restaurant (fooled by the positive reviews here on TripAdvisor) was the worst I've ever "had". 1. Food was awful. - The appetizers, supposedly a plate for two, consisted of three pieces of ham and two mini bruschette. Only positive thing was the deep-fried brie.... More
