Situated in an alleyway off Via Porta Rossa and not far from the Ponte Vecchio. Has plenty of indoor seating and several tables on the verandah alongside the alleyway that is Via Val di Lamona. The market stall holders can create quite a lot of noisy activity in the alleyway in the early evening. The service was very good. The... More

This is a family resturant recommended by family friends who live near Florence. It was excellent, my wife had a steak and I had the chicken salad both were fabulous.

Our hotel hosts said we'd enjoy this one but the four of us that went were disappointed. The wait staff was unengaged, the food was just average, the house wine was bottled and not exceptional in any way, and a large party of very young people made it very loud. We would not rush to recommend this one, there are... More

We went there for lunch on the advice of our tour guide at the Accademia and were not disappointed. We enjoyed it so much we went back the same night for dinner. Great service and delicious food!

We had a lovely dinner after wandering Via dei Tornabuoni, and were entertained by a wedding being held at the end of the corridor....wonderful added ambience and music. The sad of melon and feta with arugula was a fresh combination and very good. We each had steak prepared different ways...with pepper sauce and with pine nuts&raisins. Equally good. The lemon... I have been to Osteria Porcelino in my first night in Florence following the indication of a friend, and this place became my place in the city!! Very traditional, fresh and tasting dishes of pasta, meat or even the salad and antipasti . The onwer Enzo is always there, receiving the clients, and making sure that everything is running acordingly... More

The food and ambience was amazing, close to the leather market...wine, food.... The pear and walnut pasta was to die for! We ended up there 4 times!

Went for lunch. Great atmosphere. Tables were close together so it spurred convo with the locals. Try the pasta and bacon dish, not on the menu but amazing! Locals a call it the seven sins pasta. Because it is so rich. Service could have been better but I think there was only one server at the time.

Tucked away on a little side street behind the famous wild boar statue in Florence this restaurant provides awesome food and great service. Their selection of salads including caprese, Caesar and Greek salads can easily be taken as a meal by themselves. Their eggplant with mozzarella, tomato, and basil is also an excellent starter. We also enjoyed their spaghetti with... More
