Delicious food, good service

I went here twice during my visit in Florence and was pleased on both occasions. The food was properly portioned and fresh. The service was polite and accommodating.

I spent ten days in Italy and, if I'm being honest, had a lot of really mediocre food--which isn't exactly what the international reputation and most of the word-of-mouth I'd encountered had promised. However, the food at OdP was really good. I had some kind of potato gnocchi, and it was delicious. Beyond that, the service was good and the... More

We had to look for another restaurant then anticipated (our first choice was closed due holidays) After a nice walk around the duomo we ended at this place. It was alright. Food was good but nothing special. The average italian restaurant menu. Service was friendly.

Enjoyable lunch with tasty food and reasonably priced wine. Nice and central and would return in the future.

I was told that this was a very good restaurant. Little did I know I could have eaten here every night! The food was very good-I had the pasta with pears and pine nuts with a cream sauce. Delightful! The staff was great and the location is in the heart of Florence. Very close to the boar where you rub... More

Our guide recommended Osteria del Pocellino for lunch for us. It was air conditioned, which was a big plus, since it was so hot in Florence, and they spoke very good English. I have an allergy to pepper and they were very accommodating in making me risotto milanese without pepper. I don't remember what my husband ate, but I know... More

My family chose this restaurant as a place for last dinner in beautiful Florence. However it turned out to become a complete disaster that spoiled our last evening because of awful service that one of the waiters showed us. Firstly after my father asked for white wine the waiter did not change our glasses (with form that was for red... More

Food good but not memorable. We were a couple on a kind of romantic date ( as far as it can be after several years of marriage and children!) Staff ok but: they did not bring a salad (they just forgot) but we did not insist/mind as we ordered enough. At the moment of the bill we noticed that they charged... More

Fine pavement dining a short walk from the Piazza della Republica. Recommended by our hotel and did not disappoint. Very nice food at very reasonable price, right in the centre of Florence, not far from Mercato Nuovo, where the bronze pig is located. Actually a wild boar! Very nice little restaurant with authentic Italian food and friendly service. Smashing!
