After noticing prices like €6 for two scoops at other gelaterias, coming across this place was a godsend - it's the most affordable gelato in the city. Even better? It's among the best gelato I've ever had, and I eat a lot of gelato. The biscottino was incredible enough that we went back twice and each of the other flavors... More

The gelato was delicious, both flavour/texture. I wouldn't say it's the all time best, but it's very delicious! And for 1E for big 2 scoops, you really can't go wrong at all. Come back often, try them all and it won't break the bank. :) If you love pistachio gelato like I do, I'd suggest a detour to Il Re... More

We had ice-cream from here every day of our visit. Good range of flavours including some that were more unusual – cinnamon and honey frozen yoghurt, lemon and orange with sheep’s milk. Generous portions of ice cream at competitive prices. Our particular favourites were the biscottini and the extra dark chocolate. Highly recommended.

There are so many gelato shops around florence and 9 out of 10 are touristy. This is not! It's not directly in a tourist spot, but very close to the Duomo. The workers are extremely nice and it's a great value! I'm trying to taste every flavor here before it gets too cold! Go, you won't regret it.

This place is definitely worth seeking out when in Florence. I had the extra black and the cuor di pardula, which were both delicious and went together really nicely. The prices were very reasonable too. However, the employee serving was not the friendliest person I have came across - maybe she was just having a bad day!

Stumbled on this whilst exploring the back streets. Great variety of flavours with some you won't find elsewhere like ginger and liquorice. Good portions and just pipped for our favourite this visit though handy when walking the centre

I am not even kidding when I say this. This had been the most delicious ice cream I've had during my entire trip throughout my one month in Italy. There are heaps of flavours to choose from and ridiculously affordable for the quality and quantity! Really friendly staff! You won't regret it!

This is a very small gelato shop with about 6 seats inside and a counter with about 20 different kinds of gelato. We tried 6 flavors and they were all great! The flavors were rich and creamy, and the guys behind the counter pet us sample a few flavors before we made our selections. If you are not looking dr... More

This is probably one of the best places in florence to taste gelato. Really cheap, you can pick a gelato for one euro. This place is in a side street and easy to miss. Worth a visit.
