Try the gourmet flavors!

One of the better gelaterias visited in Florence. Tried one of their gourmet flavors and was pleasantly impressed. Gelato is also good value with their generous servings on the cone. They were nearly falling off the cone but I was not complaining. :D

On a small side street off via Nazionale. Made by hand and on the premises. Open late (11:30pm when I visited on a Sunday). Reasonable prices. Small is 1.50 Euro. Good taste. Recommend.

We kind of stumbled on Antica Gelateria looking for a later (for us) evening gelato. As it happened, Antica was pretty close to the Corte dei Medici and that got us in. What kept us coming back two additional times was the flavor and the price. Antica seems to be run by a family who are proud of their gelato... More

This is the best value in Florence for gelato. For only 1 1/2 euros you get some freshly made gelato that is really delicious. Most other gelato stores charge at least one euro more for gelato they get from a factory. This is the place to get real home made gelato for the best price in town.

After noticing prices like €6 for two scoops at other gelaterias, coming across this place was a godsend - it's the most affordable gelato in the city. Even better? It's among the best gelato I've ever had, and I eat a lot of gelato. The biscottino was incredible enough that we went back twice and each of the other flavors... More

The gelato was delicious, both flavour/texture. I wouldn't say it's the all time best, but it's very delicious! And for 1E for big 2 scoops, you really can't go wrong at all. Come back often, try them all and it won't break the bank. :) If you love pistachio gelato like I do, I'd suggest a detour to Il Re... More

We had ice-cream from here every day of our visit. Good range of flavours including some that were more unusual – cinnamon and honey frozen yoghurt, lemon and orange with sheep’s milk. Generous portions of ice cream at competitive prices. Our particular favourites were the biscottini and the extra dark chocolate. Highly recommended.

There are so many gelato shops around florence and 9 out of 10 are touristy. This is not! It's not directly in a tourist spot, but very close to the Duomo. The workers are extremely nice and it's a great value! I'm trying to taste every flavor here before it gets too cold! Go, you won't regret it.

This place is definitely worth seeking out when in Florence. I had the extra black and the cuor di pardula, which were both delicious and went together really nicely. The prices were very reasonable too. However, the employee serving was not the friendliest person I have came across - maybe she was just having a bad day!
