- Horrible food (as bad as it can get) + Great Location, nice place I imagine it is ok for a coffee or a drink... not for eating!

Stopped off here for a quick coffee and beer, service was good and the scenery is nice and open, a good all rounder.

We had a long drive from Florence and were looking for a reasonable bit to eat. this restaurant hit the spot. the service was good and the food really tasty. This is a fair valve for money place, and not to touristy.

Best lasagna ever, street scene captivating and sitting across from the Pitti Palace is mighty impressive. Service a bit slow.

We went here on the recommendation of our hotel. It was an excellent choice for what we wanted. Good food in a simply designed place with a nice blend of hip music. Food took some time to arrive (but we also had a tough time deciding what to eat.) I really enjoyed the warm chocolate flan for dessert. Music was... More

Waited ages to order. Waited ages more.. We were just getting our stuff together to leave when waiter tips up again to take our order! He realises his blunder so we say OK let's start again. Water, tea, and a coffee. Some time later the Orange juice from the failed first order turns up along tea (no milk), water (no... More

We were welcomed like old friends, given a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and the local bread appetizer.

The meal overall was very good and the service was friendly although not personal. The reason for an average rating is the price. My husband and I had an appetizer, two pastas, and each a wine by the glass (very light pour) and it was $65 for lunch. Your money might be better spent elsewhere.

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
