We saw this restaurant and booked a table for the next night, we had a really great dinner that we all enjoyed with good wine and service. It has a good atmosphere and was a fun meal. Would return.

I've been coming to this restaurant since 1985. The family that owned it then had delicious food. Through the years I watched their kids grow up and become waiters. They finally retired and sold it about 6 years ago. Went there 3 years ago with the new owner and had the most amazing Ribolitta! I have dreamt about it. I... More

I had dinner twice at this restaurant, led by reviews of Trip Advisor. Tried the T-bone, was a wee bit too rare for our liking, but I hear that is the tradition. Went back a second time as it was near where we stayed, ordered Ossu Bucco and it was seriously the BEST I ever had. People keep telling me... More

We found the place by chance. There is nice and quiet family restaurant. Excellent home wine, fabulous Italian food, fantastic service and resonable price. A really good place to have a dinner.

One thing not listed on this website is that they are closed on Mondays. Good information to know. The food is the best of Florence. Both the Veal and the Steak melt in your mouth!! The roasted potatoes with cheese are amazing. The meal comes with bread which I've learned isn't always the case so it was a definite treat.... More

Well, we followed the well worn path of Rick Steves readers to this gem. He got it right when he warned that we'd be sharing the place with all his other readers, but there's a reason for that: the place is superb. The owner bustles about making sure everything is right. I was hesitant to order the rabbit, but the... More

The food was amazing. We shared the steak and it was perfect. Ordered two sides, potatoes and cauliflower. Never knew sides could taste so good. The house red was perfect with the steak and everything was reasonably priced. I only wish I could go back again before we leave. The service was excellent, too.

It was located near central market... . We passed this restaurant and made the booking in person. Make sure to make the reservation as it was quite full. It was a small trattoria. We ordered 1kg steak for my wife and my self. Supposed this was their signature dishes. It was the best meal we had in Florence. It was... More

My Gorgonzola and nut gnocchi was amazing and I licked the plate with my bread. My husbands zucchini and goat cheese ravioli with spinich was very yummy too. The house wine chianti was a great wine that was very reasonable.

Stumbled upon this restaurant on a summers night, saw a sticker stating "tripadvisor's recommendation" on the door or so, was initially skeptical about it but since we were hungry, decided to give it a try. i Had no regrets at all after feasting myself with a 35euro worth of steak cooked to medium rare with their chianti wine and some...
