This is a reasonably priced, family-run restaurant. This is the exact type of restaurant that most tourists think of when you dream of authentic Italian cuisine. If you want to try classic Florentine dishes, try the ribollita and pappa alla pomodoro. I also encourage you to try the stewed beef with mashed potatoes. Everything at this restaurant is phenomenal. Great... More

I've been there for a dinner with 5 other colleagues of different nationalities. We had an excellent meal, starters were fantastic (I recommend the crostini with chicken leaver pâté and the aubergine soufflé), the first course was probably the best one, a colleague ordered the risotto with shrimps cream and he enjoied so much that he ended with literarily licking... Yes, It 's true dear Rinaldo96. Our risotto with scampi sauce is very very special. A lady told me some time ago ... "I could die for this risotto!" We could do without washing the plate. They do our customers satisfied. Pandemonio is very proud of this dish. Thank you for your appreciation and greets me all your colleagues, Kisses... More

This is not the fanciest restaurant I've been, nor the most 'haute' or creative cuisine, but it is among the best dining experiences I've had anywhere...I travel a lot and have had two supplements added to my passport. The executive summary: The Husband and Wife personalize the experience...and the Beef Steak Florentine was the largest and best I've had in... More

Hello dear friend, I remember very well of you because you are a very nice person. You and your guest have eaten a beautiful and huge "Fiorentina" steak with an excellent wine. We understand that you have good taste. And natural therefore' that you have enjoyed the whole spirit of "Pandemonio". Thank you for your kindness and hope to see... More

Great staff - very welcoming, friendly. Food is a mix of excellent and just okay. Had some wonderful dishes (ravioli, great wine list, cheesecake) and some that were just okay. Everything is very fresh. The experience was made by the wonderful staff. Very reasonable prices. We will be back.

We ended up having lunch at Trattoria Pandemonio the day we arrived in Florence, right after checking in our hotel, according to the advice from the guy at the front desk. He said that they might not be serving lunch but it should work out OK. We found the place almost by mistake and stepped in to see it was... More

I was in Florence to celebrate my birthday, but just for lunch I was alone, so I found this place with a good rating on TripAd. and I decided to eat something quickly there. Nice place, vary warm and very traditional style. I took "Insalata di carciofi" and "sformatino di melanzane" as starters, the little pot with aubergine was AWESOME!!... More

This is our third year to come back to Mama's. Yes, it is not the cheapest place we ate in Italy but it never disappoints. The bistecca is one of the best we have ever had and, for the first time, I tried the vegetable soup. Oh my goodness, it was so good that I'm still thinking about it. I... More

We went for dinner on a Saturday night and left with smiles on our faces. Steak fiorentina was great but happy we asked for medium rare even though we like it closer to rare as i am not sure what it would have looked like had we asked for rare. We shared a tortellini dish that was served on a... More

My fiance and her father had been to this restaurant before, years ago, and we spent a good chunk of our evening wandering around this area of Florence trying to find it. In the end, we stumbled into it entirely by accident and I was treated to some of the best food I have ever experienced in my life. They... More
