We were recommended this restaurant by a local - and boy were we thrilled. After a week of tourist places it was great to visit a real local Trattoria. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and were treated great by Mama and the staff. Mama is the owner, host and helps with the cooking. The antipasto was the best... More

Based on high tripadvisors' rating I went to this restaurant today... Well, food quality is very low. Wine was terrible, meat (for myself) and fish (for my wife) were very bad cooked. And finally it was quite expensive - 76euro for 2 persons (2 main courses with side dish and glass of wine). Well for me it's just overpriced for... More

Recommended by friends, we found the restaurant was very touristy looking, and the menu prices matched. We found better atmosphere elsewhere and much better value. Nothing was memorable, and the walk to get there not worth it. Nothing negative about the food.

Good but not exceptional trattoria. Small restaurant with varied menu. I had the raw artichoke and parmeson cheese salad and it was delicious. Attentive service. Just so you know, we had a few bottles of still water, two salads, two pasta dishes, no dessert and the bill was 57 Euros--a little more than your average trattoria.

We ate here our last night in Florence. It was one of the memorable meals during my 3-week visit. I wanted the tagliatelle with wild boar sauce and, unfortunately, they didn't have it that evening. But they said they had something similar. No one was exactly sure what the animal was (maybe it's better that way!), but it was delicious.... More

We returned after being here first in 2000. This was the only restaurant from our previous trip that we elected to come back to visit. We liked it even more this time around. We loved the eggplant flan, fried artichokes, shrimp ravioli, Tuscan T bone and the Chianti Classico. Thank you to all the staff, we hope to see you... More

The prices are higher than the common ones in Florence, but the food is great Shrimps Risotto was devine Rabbit was nice Antipasti were great and the deserts (homemade cheesecake and tiramisu) were authentic. Percent service had made this evening memorable

My wife and I went here for a birthday / anniversary dinner on the recommendation of a colleague and were not disappointed. The room was cozy but not tight, aside from a table full of women on a 'girls night out', it was also quiet. The food and wine were both fantastic. But what really made it was the service,... More

Definitely a local place. When inquired about to our hotel they immediately recanted their initial suggestions to come here. Now, I'm not sure if the staff could tell we were American tourists, or if they were having an "off" night, but our service was significantly below par. I have travelled throughout Europe and have never been so neglected at a... More

Mama is hospitality. Mama is the show! We enjoyed an extremely memorable Tuscan meal because Mama wants her guests to have an exceptional time. During our week in Tuscany, she served up the most delicious steak Florentine that has an amazing crust. Since returning home we fondly look back on our evening at Pademonio and smile when we think of... More
