First of all it's a great idea, there wasn't such a place in Florence and I feel that just this deserves a good score. Food is very nice, maybe it's not the same bagel that you can get in the US but to my experience it's a very close match. Being an intercontinental traveller I can say that compared to... More

This was our morning go to place for 2 weeks. My wife loved their coffee. A good selection of teas. Bagels and sandwiches were great starters for us. A great courtyard seating area. Internet access allowed us to do our business each day while enjoying a bagel or croissant.

Im from the U.S. but have been living here in Florence for over a decade. When I came upon it I fell in love with it. It was the first time I had actually seen a real American bakery deli here in Florence. I started going pretty often but out of all the times I went, all of the girls... More

as an American living in Italy for 12 years, I can finally enjoy a good toasted bagel with cream cheese and the works! a bit of nostalgia... the cupcakes are pretty tasty too!

Bagels and English muffins in Florence where can you get that? The service is great, the fruit bowl is recommended, it is cut as you order. The only negative is eggs are boiled so I don't know what a bacon egg on a bagel would taste like.

Mama's Bakery is excellent. Great food. Good service. Slightly expensive for what you get but worth it.

Being an American student in Florence, you really come to miss a place with bagels and soups and stuff like that. We discovered Mamas right around the corner from our apartment and it's amazing! Definitely like getting a little taste of home every once and a while. Great food and the owners are very friendly. Awesome atmosphere too. The only... More

I stumbled upon this place and had a chicken salad. The salad was tiny, boring, pre-cooked bland chicken, missing one of the ingredients that was listed, no dressing (this is supposed to be an American type cafe) and it cost 7 euro - way too much for what I got. Lots of American students getting bagels.

A lovely little find, tucked away in a quiet street. Great fresh breads & cakes, and really sweet staff. Lots of space inside and out, a good place to stop and rest or study :) Bagel with cream cheese was 2.50 and a cupcake was also 2.50.

We were stumbling around looking for another restaurant as we had a taste for American food on a cold rainy Sunday morning. This looked like an American franchise...well lit, staff wearing uniforms, etc. Greeted by the baker's wife...she's Italian and he's from San Francisco. Well it was just what we wanted....great bagels with lox, etc. I had an egg and... More
