We just tried to go and found it shut, although there was no mention on the website. Opening on 29th August. I had to rate but obviously we didn't try the food.

Excellent food - try the cuttlefish ink risotto - with a friendly service at great prices. We stayed on Viale Michelangiolo so this restaurant was very local to us and came with the recommendation of the apartment owner. Great for a top notch dinner with relaxed atmosphere and they had a deal on their Pizzas on a Monday. Value for... More

I went here with my wife for a quick pizza. We were both pleased for the service (very kind and fast) and for the pizza. We both ordered a pizza tipica with burrata and we really enjoyed it. The place is not downtown and looks very standard from outside but inside is nice and warm. We will come back again... More

I had dinner there on my last night in Florence and was very pleased. The pizza was amazing- thin, delicious crust and a fantastic sauce. The service was excellent, if a little bit slow. The place was mostly locals, which is always a good sign. It's not in a main tourist area, but it is very much worth a visit.

I know Italian service is relaxed at best but this is extreme! We asked for the bill twice before waiting another 20 minutes to get it. The pizza is good but not as good as the reviews suggest. Fairly average

Yeah, go here for pizza! This place is full of locals enjoying all sorts of entrees, but ours was amazing pizza. We had been in Italy for a week and this was the best pizza we had the entire time (and there was a lot of good pizza to beat). The service was personable and laid back. It was our... More

friendly, unassuming restaurant with varied menu, excellent value. We were staying at Hotel David and Affe di Bacco is a short stroll away, Probably the best Pizza I have eaten!! They don't rip you off for the wine either, the house white was very drinkable.

We have eaten at this restaurant twice now and think it excellent. The staff are friendly, the food and drink lovely and the this place has a fantastic feel because it fills up with locals!! We would visit this place anytime rather than the tourist traps closer to the centre of town. We would visit again if we stayed longer... More

We always go to Affe' di Bacco for pizzas since it's right down the road from us. (They also have "regular" food.) Pizzas are good Italian pizzas; kids swear they're the best in town. What we also adore are the absolutely friendly atmosphere and upbeat owner--and the fact that dogs are allowed under the table! Caring staff, consistent, dependable food.... More
