It was New Year's Day and all the good restaurants I looked in were full. It was getting late and so I decided to try this one, encouraged by a smiling member of staff and promise of a discount. I soon discovered why they needed to offer discount. The interior was brightly lit and characterless and not very warm. My... More

Went in as really busy, so thought it must be good. Ordered pizza, lasagna and veal. Pizza came very quick but daughter said it was bland. Wife's veal turned up 10 mins later, which she said tasted more like pork, then my lasagne turned up after daughter had finished her pizza. It was stoggy and tasteless. Worst meal and service... A smile at the door and pleasant service is a good start. House Chianti is only €15 for a full bottle and easy to drink. Steak Fiorentine is 0.5kg and €22.50, potatoes to die for. Really cooked and seasoned perfectly. It may not have 'typical' romantic atmosphere but apart from that it is relaxing, not rushed. Good food and good value.... More

Amazing dinner at Osteria Dell' Agnolo! Had a wonderful bruschetta, carbonara, and dolce. The best part was the service. Owner Franco made my carbonara with goat milk cheese at my request, as I am lactose intolerant. You don't get better service than this! Definitely check it out on your next visit to Florence, Italy.

Our group of 8 visited for lunch. Between us we had a few different pastas, bruschetta and roast potatoes. The pasta dishes were nothing special. I didn't finish my lasagna. It just wasn't that good. The pesto was very salty. The service was not wonderful. Go to Trattoria San Lorenzo just down the street. Much better food all around.

This was a very functional restaurant, reasonable menu with reasonable prices. The food was tasty certainly nothing to complain about. Wine prices were ok too. Service was friendly and quick. The decor was quite traditional, maybe a bit quirky. Overall it was very functional but nothing exceptional, it wouldn't take a whole lot more effort to bring up standards and... More

We ate here on our first night in Florence. All fine, nothing special. House wine 15 euros per bottle.

Stopped in to have a glass of wine with the family. 4 bottles later we finally left. Great house wine and the employees were very friendly and served us deserts on the house. Would go back any day to drink again

Looking for a light dinner, we decided to stop in for some Chianti Classico and share a pizza. It looked charming from outside, which was full, so we sat inside towards the back. The TV was on and loud, and the service was slower than we've come to expect in Florence. The pizza was very disappointing and not any better... More
