Ambitious ambiance

The service at here was great. They were fast, family-friendly, and welcoming to all. The place had a nice homey feel, but we didn't think the food lived up to all the reviews and expectations. Nice place though! It was good.

I was in Florence for 8 weeks and I was able to explore all of it near SMN and the Duomo. This is my favorite restaurant in Florence and florence is my favorite city in Italy! My friends and I ate here almost 10 times and tried everything we could on the menu. Nothing disappoints! The food is great and... More

We went as we found good ratings in here but honestly? Not the best. It's not bad but after looking around we saw we got too excited too fast when we could have gotten better. So do your research! It's a nice place to eat, the staff is uninterested. The day we went was a week day and it was... More

This place is affordable (something which is not easy to find in Florence old city) but their food is pretty bad! My salami gorgonzola pizza was pretty bland and fatty. If your are considering this place then I would recommend going to the newly opened foot court in the Mercato (on the second floor) instead. Don't be mistaken by the... More

We were in Florence with a tour group. On a day we finally had free, we ventured out to find a Florentine Steak. JACKPOT! This place was down the street from our hotel. That was a good thing, because, we had to waddle "home". The steak was perfectly cooked med rare. The wine was incredible! The atmosphere was warm. A... More

We were given the business card of this restaurant when we asked the hotel reception clerk about nice places to dine in Firenze. The place is just beside the Santa Maria Novella station and has a pub/steakhouse decor. It is not a fancy smanshy place for snobs but it has a great menu and a great chef. We ate there... More

After a long day of visiting Pisa & Cinqueterra, we wanted to eat somewhere close to our hotel (Hotel Rapallo = Amazing) and stumbled upon this place. My husband and I shared the Penne pesto, Fettucine & creme & Chicken Parmigiana. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced - even the house wine! They even have a cute outdoor space to... More

My wife and I stopped into this pleasant Resturant when we first arrived into Florence. We had an early lunch and were completely blown away with the taste and freshness of our meals. Best home made Greek salad that we've had and delicious pasta. We were so impressed with the food and the service that it was a must that... More
