Good food, nice atmosphere

Picked this place for dinner as it was just around the corner from our hotel. Glad we did as the choice of menu was good and reasonably priced. The food was very good and the service very friendly. We heard about the infamous Tuscany T-bone steak so we were on a mission to try a steak on our first day in Florence. We went to this restaurant because it was getting late and it was near our hotel. Although this place was known for its pizza, we ordered the Bistecca (fire grilled T-bone steak) and our favorite, Spaghetti... More

This was an amazing gem right next to our hotel by complete fluke. It had the trip adviser sticker in the window and looked traditional and was full of locals which is always a great sign. The food was so amazing that we eat here twice and I could happily eat here for the rest of my life. My dad... More

Had two very nice meals here. I loved the Greek salads, my husband enjoyed the steak in Chianti so much he had it both times, the fish mains were very fresh. The 2nd time we went the water had been turned off in the street but they were coping well. It has a good atmosphere and the walls are painted... More

My family and I came here twice within our 5 day stay in Florence. Our first time here was absolutely delightful. We were the only ones there as we had an early dinner that night. We ordered a pizza and a mixed grill platter for 3, and it was more than enough. The pizza was delicious, although it could have... More

I ate here three times while I was in Florence, that's how good it is. Not the cheapest restaurant ever but excellent value for money, and great portions. The venue itself is great, just around the corner from the market which then leads into the very centre of Florence. Down the road is the main train station as well. Inside... More

After our terrible first night meal in Florence we were determined to not go back to any of the main piazzas where many of the restaurants are located. So I did my research on TripAdvisor and found this little place which was rated quite highly. And rightly so! Excellent service, fantastic wine and all the food was delish - this... More

Food was good, not great, but budget minded. We stopped on way back from Accademia to the train station area. We were tired and, un-Italian like just wanted to eat and get on our way. But there was only couple of waiters for the early dinner so took a little while. no compliants, but wanted to eat and run....

Trotting around Florence after dark with no idea where to eat. This place looked busy. Excellent meal. Friendly service and very good value for money. We didn't try other restaurants lest we be disappointed. A comment - not a complaint - the portions are more than adequate. Bear this in mind when ordering.
