Great little place. In fact, wow! It is quite close to the Duomo - a couple of hundred metres' walk, I suppose. They could have ripped us off, they could have served us cr*p food for the price (€23 for the two of us for lunch) and they could have treated us like a couple of British tourists. But they... More

My husband stopped by here after our visit to the Accademia and we are so happy to have stumbled upon this place! The service was fast and friendly and the food and wine was excellent! We ordered a caprese for an appetizer, half liter of house white wine and 2 plates of pasta- all of it so good! The steaming... More

We stopped in with friends for gelato and cocktails after visiting the Duomo. I wish we would have been there for supper - they were in the process of making their sauce for the next day and it smelled divine!!! The gelato was delicious and they had a quaint little seating area outside. The staff was very friendly.

Found this place by accident. It is in a small side street and has a few tables outside under canopies. It looks very basic but the food is home made daily and very fresh. The menu also changes daily but you can have various pastas, salads and meats of good quality served very promptly by charming waitresses. We ate there... More

Just down from the Galleria dell Accademia, you will find this cafe. Great food, great service and all at a great price. And not a single Rocket lettuce leaf to be seen in the salad. Bonus!!!

Oliandolo brings food to your table within three-four minutes, to your great satisfaction. Three no-nonsense Italian men and additional female colleagues go about their hospitality in a marvellously down-to-earth and real way -- no show, no pretense, no over-eagerness to please. And they do not have to act. The small menu changes daily and has only carried tasty dishes the... More

We were walking between the Academia and the Duomo today and stumbled across this cafe only to find warm hosts and delicious food. They had fresh pasta so our lunch was served very quickly. A husband/wife duo was out front as well as another husband/wife duo in the back. They were fantastic. Everyone was warm and energetic taking great pride... More

Walking between the Accademia and the Duomo, we were ready for lunch and came upon this place. Quick perusal of the brief menu outside and we were in and seated at the only vacant table. It is the italian version of "fast" food I think? We both had pasta with Gorgonzola and courgettes, it was delicious! We had bread with... More

We found this place after visiting the statue if david and were ready for a pick me up. My friebds say the coffee was one if the best they'd had. I had hot chocolate and it was like a melted chocolate bar in a cup. Delicious.
