Fun little bar

We stopped by here for aperitivo before our dinner reservation at their other establishment, Il Santo Bevitore. I wish we'd ordered charcuterie and stayed here all evening, as the food at the overhyped Santo Bevitore was utterly disappointing and at best, mediocre. The service at Il Santino is... read more

We were walking past and saw some great food people standing outside were having so we had to go in. Staff were helpful and paired great wine with tatsy dishes from around italy. We ordered wine and received well - matched snacks and then ordered a couple of menu items which are designed to share. Great place to meet friends... More

Oh my! I went back two nights in a row! The food is out of this world. I am a foodie! I dine in several restaurants every part of the world! This one is one of my favorites! Must make a reservation a few days in advance if not you can not get in because the regular locals are frequenting... More

This wonderful little bar is a great place to rest your feet and enjoy a glass of wine and a small plate of pancetta and cheese. I love the staff, they were very welcoming. Great ambience, non-touristy, exactly the type of wine spot that makes Florence beautiful.

We stopped here for wine and appertivo before dinner down the street on our last night in Florence and we wished we stopped in sooner because we would have loved to have come back. Wine: Delicious. The options are few and well picked. They don't mess around with only local wines or house wines or varying quality - they are... More

We are tourist, look around some place to take a rest in suddenly raining. We found Il Santino. The bartender is very professional, he chose me a white wine is very good one I like very much. Brahma ham and cheese are well too. We are very happy to find this shop. Definitely will come again.

Frequented by locals, this place is charming (love the ambiance!). We stopped in for a late afternoon drink. Great wine and even better service. We will be back when next in Florence.

So, this place is small, cozy, apparently well cherished by locals and offers great wine. Apperitivo isn't a buffet but a plate with cheese and ham and slightly pricier that your average apperitivo. However, the wine is great and the choices of food are tasty as well. The staff is nice and locals are running around. It was a good... More

So rustic and small with amazing wines. Spend an afternoon/evening here and order the whole menu. All drinks accompany an Italian meat/fish/tapas. Inspired bar food in a great setting.

We'd walked past the previous night & loved the look of this tiny bar, displayed wine bottles & extensive cheese selection. The manager/owner was not helpful with the menus at all, but thankfully a younger guy started his shift & he was marvellous! He explained the food & wine menu, we discussed what we liked & didn't, & started from... More
