It was late and we were on the prowl for dinner. We stumbled upon this place which was fortunately still open. It was pretty quiet - maybe only 3 or 4 other tables were occupied. The food was good and the service was prompt. Reasonably priced and everything tasted pretty fresh.

We found this little gem on Trip Advisor. A small restaurant with a great menu. Staff were very kind and spoke enough English to get along. Wine was lovely, food was amazing! For starters, we shared a dip and meat plate and a sausage and truffle mix on toasted bread. For mains, I had a mushroom ragu and my husband... More

Got recommended this place but don’t know what the hype was about, just didn’t like the style. Restaurant location is a little hidden but it definitely wasn’t a ‘hidden gem’. My wife and I thought it was one of the worst and over-priced meals we had in Europe. The waitress seemed to speak good English so I asked if some... More

On our first day in Florence, we asked the owner of hotel Villa Aruch where we should eat and he recommended this place. He said that's his friend's restaurant so he knows for sure how the food is cooked and it is really good... As we didn't really had time to check around on for other options so we just... More

Despite this restaurant looking somewhat closed, we were happily welcomed by the waiter/owner. We chose an all inclusive menu for €20 per person which included appetisers of meat and bread with an amazing pesto-like topping. Entree was amazing, fresh, flavoursome fettuccine. It had a hint of chilli but was incredible! Main was a sausage and bean casserole served with spinach.... More

I was staying outside of Florence centre and asked the hotel receptionist of somewhere to eat on my last night and close by, he recommended Osteria de' Golosi and I am so thankful. My 2 previous evenings I had eaten in central Florence and although I tried hard to find nice authentic restaurants nothing compared to this delightful one. I... More

Came across this restaurant late at night whilst trying to find our hotel (AC Firenze) and were given very helpful directions. Returned following evening for meal which we thoroughly enjoyed. Food was great as was service. Not expensive - under E100 for 4 courses, wine and tip. Wonderful start to our holiday in Florence. Grazie molto per il pasto meraviglioso.

Good value, and delicious fresh food - well worth the visit. We had the same meal twice too - on extremely hot summer days, being able to stop for an ice-cold draught and fresh salad with melon and parma ham - my favourite, was great.

We were kindly driven here by our Courtesy bus driver, as we had no particular restaurant in mind, and his friend owned this one, so we were happy to give it a try. It's nowhere near the centre of Florence where all the tourists go, so the prices were reasonable for the starters and main courses (dessert a little pricey),... More

We were looking for a restaurant which offers typical local kitchen and discovered the Osteria de Golosi. 3 days in advance i gave a call to the Osteria to ask wether it is possible to reserve for 22:45 (we've been to a concert before) and get served food at that time. The person answered clearly that there wouldn't be any... More
