Great little restaurant .

The fillet steak at 15 euros was amazingly delicious. Went back a second time and had giant prawns in tomato sauce. Also fantastic. Yummy desserts. Friendly service. Highly recommend. Then go on to the opera at St. marks English church 8.30 pm!

Just on the other side of the Arno is this little restaurant. Menu is small, on day we were there was either a florentine steak with greens or a two course meal with 4-5 choices for each course. For 11 and 8 euro respectively it is a very good deal. The desserts are home made and they will even put... More

It's always good to search the small alleys, away from the main roads, when looking for a nice place to eat. We had a very decent lunch here, with a lovely wine for a very reasonable price (primi & secondo for about €9,00). Not too many tourists and quite friendly staff (we noticed that it helps if you try to... More

Bordino is hard to find if you don't live here, but well worth the search. The food is hearty and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and feels like a medieval diner. Wonderful wine, great service, excellent food!

Nice location and well set up. They lost in terms of food. They took less than 5 min to bring our pasta dishes, not proper italian at all. Quality was very low. Cappers salad with a gummy mozzarella. Good and unreal rates about this place in internet.

Was taken here by a local, the first time I stayed in Florence, and thought t was great, and have been here every trip since. My foodie daughter says it was the best steak she had ever had, and friends have always enjoyed it. The food is good, the staff friendly, and the prices reasonable, within minutes of the Ponte... Although just a few minutes walk from the Ponte Vecchio, Trattoria Bordino is certainly frequented by locals. We were brought there by a friend who lives in Sesto Fiorentino who took the train into Santa Maria Novello to join us for lunch. There was a prix fixe lunch that he recommended, that included pasta, carne and dolce. The food was... More

My wife and I had eaten there 3 years ago on a previous visit to Florence... It was our first meal upon arrival on our most recent trip... Did not disappoint! Great steak, very reasonably priced house wine, very good service... On our last day had to visit again, only 11 euro including salad...

It had been 15 years since I was last in Florence and yet I remembered this place and its food. But for some reason, I thought the name was wrong, but the location was right. Well, it was the same and it was one of our best meals travelling through Italy. We ate some amazing food, so this is a... More
