Tucked away yet only a stones throw from Ponte Vecchio

This small trattoria is in a side street within 100 metres of the Ponte Vecchio yet it could be miles away as it is pleasantly quiet. It has a compact outdoor eating space, the food was of a good quality & nicely served by the helpful waiting staff.

It is a nice restaurant in the quiet street. The interior is traditional and very nice, but the terrace is quite small. We were having onion soup and mixed crostini for the first course and T-bone steak for two with grilled mushrooms, fries, spinach and mixed salad for the second course. Everything was nice, although there was not plenty of... More

Had dinner here with my mom and boyfriend. the interior part of the place is really nice, vintage and with lots of old tools hung on the wall all around. very cosy and typical atmosphere. really nice! We directly ordered meat secondis and side dishes plus one dessert. yup, we are not big eaters but this does not mean that... More

We dined here after visiting the Pitti Palace. The food was fresh, delicious, and reasonable. Service was excellent. I had a chicken in cream sauce with capers, and my husband enjoyed the penne arrabiata.

We stayed near here and thought we'd give it a try. The food was delicious and very authentic. I had pasta arabiatta and was spicy and very fresh. Husband had risotto Gorgonzola and really enjoyed that. Kids had steak for 15 euros a great deal a little tough but good value and basic pasta with tomato and basil and red... More

This was a very small and intimate restaurant, which I didn't realize when I looked for a restaurant near the apt I was staying at. However, even though intimate and romantic was not the mood that we were looking for as part of my last dinner in Florence with my parents and 9 month-old baby, the food was still really... More

This is a tiny, quiet little trattoria on the other side of the Ponte Vecchio. The food was very good and the value can't be beat. Treat yourself to a Steak Florentine on the patio.

After 12 days in Italy (Milan, Venice, Montoroso (Cinque Terra) we arrived in Florence and I was ready for some Florentine Beef. The guy we rented our apartment from in Oltrarno recommended Trattoria Borden which was about 150 meter walk from our apartment, very close to Ponte Vecchio. It is on one of those quiet side streets and looks like... More

We had read about Trattoria Bordino on tripadvisor and made the search, we were glad we did. We were here for lunch and had bistecca which was beautifully seasoned and cooked rare (which I like) and my husband had spaghetti carbonara which he is usually not keen on but was willing to give it a try. He was very glad... More

Visited Florence earlier this month and this was one of the nicest restaurants we dined in. The place itself was a beautiful rustic affair, complete with original Italian artifacts throughout. We felt like we had stepped back in time (in a nice way). My Dad had a chicken dish, which he said was absolutely delicious and my daughter and I... More
