This is a cosy, little pizzeria which is very close to Porto Romana in Florence. A little pizzeria which is always full, not a romantic place, not a great service but really good pizza they offer, we paid 30€ stg for two including wine. You can try, we liked it.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant which was in walking distance. We arrived and was taken great care of. Nelo was our waiter has been there for 26 years and was a true Italian. He took the time to explain all the great dishes. The pizzas are excellent and the stuffed tomatoes were my favorite!! Before we left we made reservations... More

I can't give an excellent vote because of the sometimes rude service and obscure billing receipts, BUT THE PIZZA IS SOETHING ELSE! They make it extra thin with a narrow crispy crust, the ingridients are top and their Mozzarella di Bufala and Mozzarella Burrata are to use as cold topping exclusively after the Pizza exits the traditional wood oven.... mouth-watering... Nice little restaurant on Oltrarno side of river not far from Porta Romana. Great pizza, with many kinds. Also other pastas, etc., but we only had pizza there. My favorite was with wild mushrooms and truffles. Also do a take-out service for pizza which many people came in for while we were there. Service a little sharp even though we... More

My husband and I loved this place! We ate here on our first night in Florence, ordered take away a couple nights later, and are planning another visit before we leave. On our first visit, I ordered the margherita pizza (by far the best I've ever had) and Husband had one of the specials, a lovely pie with burata mozzerella... More

Happened into this place. Loved it. Went back the next night. Nolo is a wonderful server so ask to sit at one of his tables.

A pizzeria with a look of a traditional Florentinian osteria (with dark wooden tables and all necessary paraphernalia). Very basic service and grumpy waiters, not cheap. I had an appetizer of local cold cuts (very good) and pasta (trofiette with fish - "gallinella" - and clams), it was so-so, quite watery. With a small pitcher of table wine, water and... More

A cute little neighborhood pizzeria that served great thin-crust pizza and excellent pasta. However, the tiramisu was disappointing. We sat in the back room with what seemed to be many locals and it had a great energy to it.

This place is full with locals and some tourists. Pizza's are great, pasta tasty, service is friendly and fast. Real local atmosphere with lot's of families, don't expect a quiet dinner.

This restaurant seems to be a favorite of locals...we went twice since it is close to our B&B, and both nights we appeared to be the only tourists. My husband had the seppie alla griglia (grilled cuttlefish) and liked it so much, we went back the next night. I had a seafood pasta that was good and the next night... More
