We went to Roberto's place due to recommendation of local bakery. Place looks pretty uninvitational - nothing seems to change here since '50 -ties last century. They do not even serve beer.... Anyhow if you are looking for place with a charm and elegance - forget about Roberto's and go somewhere else. But the food ... very simple but done... More

We came here at the recommendation of my cousin who lives in Florence. There were all locals dining, no tourists. The chef and waiter were very helpful with recommendations in English. The food was very fresh and delicious. We had antipasta with local hams and cheeses and the best pasta we ever had. Tagliatelle with funghi (mushrooms). It is family... More

Came here on the recommendation of a family member. He came two years ago and raved. He was here two weeks ago and said it was not as good as he remembered. I think he as right. The best part of the meal was the bruschetta al lardo de colonnata. We ordered bistecca and it was raw. Nowhere close to... More

Came here based on previous reviews and the location. My wife took the ravioli, which was great and I had the crostini followed by Salmon in balsamic with fagioli beans. Put this together with the house pinot grigio. A wonderful lunch!

We had lunch here before visiting the Uffizi. Please note this restaurant is on the side street across from the police station.. I say this because we walked by it twice before finding the restaurant. Family owned and operated it was evident they take pride in the food served. I had the ravioli and I must say this was the... As we were walking down the street we noticed a very inviting window display and a good looking menu. We made a mental note to check it out the next day, By the time we had entered we realized our error. The food was lackluster, the environment not very clean or inviting. There were few people in the restaurant, but... More

We found this restaurant by accident, just in front the Galileo museum. The menu looked promising. We returned by 19:00 and it was still closed. We decided to have a walk and came back. Most of the patrons are Italians (families and friends). The food is delicious,, but take in consideration that you have to command potatoes, pasta, or veggies... More

Me and husband ordered seafood spaghetti (7euro) and mushroom sauce chicken (7 euro), both r nice. the chef himself brought the food to our table and he's very friendly. The waiter was also very nice even though we cannot speak italian he could understand us very well.
