Great pizza

Our favorite pizza place in Florence. Always good quality and a quick cheap meal. The original location is a bit small and often full but taking it to go and eating it on the Santo Spirito church steps or Santa Trinita bridge is half the fun.

Obviously you have to stop into a place for pizza when in Italy, and again, you probably can’t go wrong with most places. We came here at the suggestion of a friend, and it was perfectly good. Would I say walk out of your way to find it? I wouldn’t go across the city to do it, but if you’re... More

We went twice during our stay and it was packed both times mostly with American students which adds to the general flavor of the place. Good pizza at even better prices and you can dine in or take away.

Eat here now! Leave, go there and eat! Drink the wine! It is one of the best, most fresh meals I've ever had

The Pizza at Gusta Pizza is excellent with the freshest ingredients and wonderful, friendly staff to match. We arrived right on opening, so we didn't have to wait at all.

We were very lucky to get chair and share a table with others because this place was crazy noisy and busy! I ordered a custom pizza with mushrooms and artichoke. The toppings were good but the crust was too thick and I didn’t like it at all. B loved his classic marguerite pizza. The staff was very nice, organized and... More

Its always difficult travelling to a city you've never been before and knowing where to eat, luckily we found Gusta Pizza and had the second best pizza in the world (just behind Arte Della Pizza in Venice) the difference with Gusta is that the staff are friendly, welcoming and courtious. Can't wait for our next trip.

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
