Our son has been raving about this spot since he began his masters program at James Madison University in Florence. So, we had to try it. Our only regret: we didn't eat there multiple times! The crust is perfectly crisp, the homemade sauce is delicious, the toppings terrific (my favorite was the eggplant but all were yummy). We had a... More

Loved it. Casual and just what we needed after a long day of sightseeing. Great value, great pizza, great ambiance. Worth waiting for. You'll know you're in the right place when you see tons of people standing in line. We had one with a spicy pepperoni which was divine, and one with cherry tomatoes and basil I think. They were... One of the best pizzas I have ever had. This lovely little restaurant on the corner of a quaint and quiet street has a staff full of energy and charm and serves the best pizza in Florence. It is inexpensive: 4 to 8 euros depending on the pizza you get and they are the perfect personal size. If you ask... More

No sooner have you ordered your pizza and sipped the first of your vino rosso della casa, than it arrives perfectly cooked with fresh/tasty ingredients. Eat in and share the table top with others or take it home. A bonus - the owners and workers are friendly and there is good repartee between them and the regulars. Two specials a... More

Outstanding pizza! Same quality as their Osteria around the corner at a fraction of the price. Perfectly light and chewy crust. The menu is small, 7 different pizzas. Order at the register and then fight for a table or take it to go. It will all be with it, promise.

Seems always busy for dine in and take away, can see why, cheap fresh and local, dough is the best element which overshadows simple toppings. Can attract tourist groups on some nights.

Gusta Pizza is absolutely the best pizza in Florence! Their pizza makers are straight out of Tuscany, the birthplace of pizza, so they know what they're doing. It is always busy, but the wait for a pizza is never long. All of the ingredients are incredibly fresh and the quality is always consistent. The atmosphere is great too, as the... More

This place was just outstanding. A small but varied menu and very reasonably priced pizzas (6-8 euro for a large one). The house wine (5 euros a bottle from memory) was outstanding and went perfectly with the pizzas. The restaurant set up is quite basic, and it gets packed really quickly. Be prepared to share a table with others. A... More

As always, I visited this pizzeria after reading several good reviews from TA. However, after we ate the pizza at there, we realized that there were nothing special in this pizzeria. I ordered Gusta pizza but the valance between pizza dough and ingredient was not good. Some part of dough was too thick with clumps of cheese thrown on unevenly.... More
