Student handout but well worth it for the pizza!

The pizza here is delicious! and different from many I have had in Italy. This cute little place across the Ponte Vecchio in the Santo Spirito area is well worth the walk! it is crammed with students, many American, but all willing to share their tables and the atmosphere. My daughter insisted... read more

This place came recommend by a local so we checked it out after a morning at Pitti Palace. Pizza is excellent - soft dough with a crunchy crust, sweet and tangy sauce, top quality toppings and ingredients. The cost is low as the service is minimal - no servers so don't come if your looking for a formal sit down... More

Great small place. Wish they had a high chair. About 7 pizza to chose from and great crust! We were there with 16 month old.

Inexpensive pizza that is incredibly quick. Order your pizza and grab a glass of wine to go. When your pizza is done, go sit in the Piazza Santo Spirito and enjoy the piazza and your surroundings.

My wife and I took our family here on a recommendation from our tour guide in Florence. It is some of the best Pizza we have had! Very flavorful crust and fresh toppings galore! The owner was very gracious and accommodating. The atmosphere was also very laid back and relaxing. The Margarita Pizza was off the charts!

We heard about this place through a Lonely Planet guide and were a bit worried when we saw a queue of about 35 people outside the restaurant 20 minutes before it had opened. But don't let this put you off, the reason is the pizza is so damn good and totally worth the short wait. A lot of people were... More

Whatever you do and eat while visiting Florence, make sure this is one of your stops! I learned of Gusta Pizza through a random find on Instagram. I had this tagged as a place for my husband and I to have lunch. We got there around 1pm and the space was full. Definitely a popular spot! It also was mid... More

Lovely pizza that is cheap and quick! We ate in with a glass of wine, very laid back. More of a takeaway venue but eating in is fine

After reading the reviews we decided to try this place. I've had a lot of pizza in my little and this was just ok. The price was very good for what you get. We went next door after sitting a small pie since we were still craving something on the amazing level. There are many good restaurants nearby if you... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
