Real wood fired pizza oven! This tiny restaurant opened at 7pm in the evening by which time a queue had already formed out in the street. It's good (and fresh) food fast! Still a student and local hangout. Fresh ingredients with a super hot oven make everything here worth trying.

Get there before opening time if you want to avoid a wait. We were first in the door at 1130 and and the place was full within five minutes of the doors opening. It was a one hour experience from ordering to finishing a pizza each and we were the first to order. The pizzas were delicious- both the toppings... More

Great tasting Italian style pizza! Note they are closed on Mondays...and the line gets long fast! We ordered and paid for our pizza then had to wait over an hour to get a table then another 20 minutes for the pizza. Although the pizza was delicious I am not sure we would have waited if we had not paid for... More

Came here because of trip advisor reviews and we weren't dissapointed. Just be aware it's not somewhere you have a slow relaxing meal. You queue, order from the 7 menu items and 1 type of wine and beer, wait for a space at a table, sit, wait maybe 5 mins and your pizza is there! It was so good we... More

Come early because the line forms before they open and stays long (but moves pretty fast). We got the hot salami pizza and it was so good! Highly recommend this place. The employees were nice too.

Have eaten at Gusta Pizza about 7 -8 times over the last five years. Have had some good and not so good on different visits. Got there shortly after they opened for lunch to beat the line and the pies arrived shortly. There was a large border of just crust with no sauce and the barest of toppings.Had four other... More

The Gusta restaurants in Santo Spirito are easily three of the best restaurants I went to during my time in Florence. All have a very friendly atmosphere, and Pizza/Panino can be a sit down meal or take away to the steps. Pasquale and the others in charge are extremely hospitable and friendly. Truly made a difference in my entire experience!... More

It is a bit overwhelming when you first walk into Gusta Pizza. Once you figure out how to order, you get a number and wait for your pizza or calzone to be ready. Watching them make it was so interesting, all of the ingredients seemed so fresh. they had a very fast and efficient system.
