This amazing restaurant is located just near the hotel I stayed in so decided to pay them a visit after being recommended by one of the staff at the hotel. The experience was truly Italian and more traditional. Food was amazing especially pasta and steak. For all you people who want to enjoy a truly authentic meal i suggest please... More

Our best meal in Florence. Highly recommend bread soup and steak. Good price for young couple. I will introduce here to friends.

This is a small place, you know they do not cater only to Tourists when you see a note on the menu that says. NO Piazza, NO Bruchetta, NO Ice, NO Cappuccino, NO take away. The menu is hand written and changes almost every day. We and our friends ate there a few times and every meal was excellent. We... More

I've been to Florence at least fifteen times, and only on the last two visits have I had the pleasure of dining in this wonderful family-run, unpretentious trattoria, located smack dab in the middle of Touristville! And in spite of the location, they make no concessions to non-Florentines...the food is authentic, delicious and worth more than the very modest prices.... More

The fact we had to book for 3 nights later shows how popular this is: excellent food, very reasonable in price, and delightful staff

The demand to eat at this place is so great that it is nearly impossible to get in without a reservation. It is a very small place, and in order to maximize the number of people served you may have to share a table with others (this is not an unusual practice in Florence). We were two for dinner and... We are in Florence for only one night and chose this as our dinner spot. We couldn't have made a better choice. The food was exceptional and the service was very inviting and fun. They made it feel like you were having dinner with family. We had ravioli with pesto and meat balls and potatoes. Both were very good. I... More

My family of three had a lovely meal here on our second night in Florence. It is very close to our accommodation in Piazza Della Signoria so we just popped in during the day and booked a table, which seems to be necessary as most nights they have a sign on the door that they are fully booked. The waiter... More

Tried to find this restaurant on our second night in Florence and failed miserably. It's just off the main square by the Uffuzi around the corner from the flower shop. Succeeded for lunch the following day and it was well worth the perseverance. The mozzerella that I had with the freshly carved dried ham was beautiful and certainly the freshest... More
