Excellent local dining, in a hideaway spot. Wine selection was decent, staff very friendly. Definitely a great spot for authentic local cuisine.

Was recommended to this place near the San Lorenzo Market by our landlord. Have been here several times over during our stay in italy. Best lasagna in town, hands down.

Loved this place. Service was immaculate but not intrusive, atmosphere genuine, menu not extensive but varied and interesting, superb choice of wines especially the choice of Chianti, food cooked to perfection. Hard to fault and strongly recommended.

This meal was chosen by a Parisian colleague whose taste I had good reason to trust, and that trust was fully warranted. I have to eat gluten free -- which need not interfere with choice or excellent preparation, as it did not here. Unctuous risotte with mushrooms, followed by Florentine tripe; when I ordered pannecotta with fruit sauce for desert,... More

My friend and I were traveling with a group of eight and had a very nice lunch here. The place is small but charming. We had a nice assortment of meats and cheeses to start along with some good house wine. I had the Spaghetti pepo and while very simple it was delicious. It is a small place and fills... More

It's is small so you may want to call ahead for a reservation. They have the regular menu and daily specials. Everything was fresh and very tasty. It was hard to decide... More

Many times, when I'm in Florence (Italy) I like to have my dinner in this small restaurant in via Rosina, just around the corner of the spectacular St. Lawrence basilica, in the midst of the large homonymous leather market. Here you can find a good selection of well renowned Tuscanian wines along with some typical dishes as the "ribollita", "pappa... More

We stumbled on this restaurant while trying to find another one, we were attracted by the lovely decor and good memu. Fortunately it was quite early and we got seated immediately. We were greeted with a glass of proseco. The service was excellent, very helpful and quick. We had Antipasti (meat and cheese) and shared a steak Florentine, which was... More
