Friendly and Tasty

We came here with a group of 10 people and no reservation on a Thursday evening and they were able to fit us in with only a ten minute wait. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. I had the lampredotto which was rich, hearty, and delicious. The prosecco was nice and chilled. Our waiter, who looked somewhat... read more

From pasta to tribe, from salads to t-bone steak, delicious! As desert the best cheesecake ever! And just over 100€ for the four of us!

I have had a great chicken breast. There was no problem of changing the salad into potatoes. My sister has had a buffet for 8€ including water.

We walked down here after sunset watching at piazza michelangelo. We asked the waiter for his recommended dishes and basically followed that. Everybody loved everything we ordered. The Veal parpadelle (9 euros) was the best I think, followed by the fried beef steak. My friend ordered the tripes dish which he said was amazing too. The waiters were friendly and... More

All ofus ordered different things and were in luv with our plates. The place and food looks more authentically local than others we visited. The waiters were nice and patient even though... More

We walked down the hill from Piazzale Michelangelo after watching a beautiful sunset over Florence and enjoyed a wonderful meal here. The food was simple, local, and very tasty and the service was friendly and helpful. Overall a great way to end our first day in Florence!

A business associate of my wife suggested this restaurant to us and we were not disappointed. A friendly greeting was the beginning of an excellent meal. All our questions about the Italian-only menu were answered in a helpful way. The food we received was amazing and perfect for a dining group, which included my two year old son. I may... More

We at in the basement which has been converted from an old church which was very cool. The prices were very good and I really enjoyed the pork (cooked medium to rare). I highly recommend the bruschetta too! The linguine was good but I found it a bit salty. The service was excellent and the waiter did a great job... More

Don't walk by this place and think "eh!". We ate downstairs in a very quant and private basement area that was quiet and nice. Food was good, service great.

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
