Had a fantastic meal here. The food, wine, and service were top notch. It is in my Top 3 food experiences in Florence over twenty years of visiting this beautiful city.

We arrived at about 21:15 on a Saturday night to a restaurant half full but with great atmosphere to be told there may not be a table available as a large party was expected. We were not relishing the idea of looking for another restaurant but a small, but perfectly comfortable table was offered to us. My knowledge of Italian... More

We've been visiting for about ten years and we've always had great food, great wine and the very best, friendly service to be found in Florence. Our favourite restaurant on earth!

This is an absolute must in Florence for Lunch or diners. We kept on going back for the varied delicious mixed salads and amazing wines. Perfect combination of great produces, lovely atmosphere and very welcoming waitresses.

Really enjoyed a light evening meal here. Went for a very tasty cheese and cured meats platter, which complemented the wines that I was talked through by the energetic and enthusiastic waiter. Not knowing enough about Italian wines, it was good to have his experience to guide me. No problem or issue about me going for just an anti paste... More

Very nice, friendly, casual spot. We speak no Italian but had excellent help from the staff. We had made a reservation using Trip Advisor and were promptly seated upon arrival. The restaurant was hopping from 9 to 11 PM when we were there.

This restaurant was recommended by our host in Firenze. Well worth it; the food was fantastic and the staff were very welcoming, friendly and knowledgable about local foods and wine.

I do not recommend this restaurant. There's no one in the front to greet anyone, it took at least 20 minutes for anyone to come to the table, and at least 30 minutes to get the bill (we had to ask twice). The food was ok but not worth the lack of customer service. No one really cared. To top... More

Lively and authentic place! We've been offered some prosecco while waiting, once inside the food was awesome and the personnel was very kind. Try the ravioli with burrata served with onion and pistachio sauce! Excellent price/quality ratio! You should book and not just show up cause it's usually very crowded!

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
