We found this restaurant when heading towards the Ponte Vecchio - it's part of the Hotel Lungarno which I had tried to book earlier but there was no vacancy (we stayed at Porta Rossa which was excellent and so regrets whatsoever). The restaurant overlooked the Arno River and our table allowed by wife to face the Ponte Vecchio as I... More

The restaurant is very pretty on the inside and the service is great. We did the chef's top 5 tasting and skipped the wine pairing as we had already been drinking other stuff prior to coming here for dinner. If you can get yourself a seat on the balcony then the experience seems that much better. It's such a pretty... More

We had the tasting menu with five courses, seem to remember it was something like 100Euros/head, mainly fish, and it was amazing. Starter was a very novel take on tricolore, then something with prawns, then monkfish tartare, then some other fish - apologies, it's a while since we went - and then a really interesting dessert Sit on the balcony,... Be sure to ask for a table on the balcony. There are only two and it was wonderful. (Of course, the sun was out and it was a nice day, too!) Overlooking the river, watching the rowers and boats, it wouldn't have mattered if the food wasn't great, but it was. Well prepared, nice presentation. The wine list was good... More

I had a lovely meal here - very gorgeous looking place, and very friendly staff. 4 euro cover charge, but the meals not too expensive... but the drinks! ordered an Apéritif when i sat down without seeing a menu ... 15 Euro! And at the end of the meal had a glass of wine the waitress suggested... 20 Euro!! Would... More

Foodies only! If you don't appreciate fine dining then this is not the restaurant for you. However, it is a foodie's heaven. The dishes are unique, colorful, and interesting. They are served with special plates with variety. The combinations of foods are like none other. And then there is the view....a table on the terrace is, BAR NONE, the best... More

Elegant setting, superb food and service overlooking the Arno on the Pitt Palace side. Expensive but worth it to top off your stay in Florence. Don't miss it!
