Good food and service

Reasonable price. Accommodating to our kids picky tastes. Very friendly servers. It was one of the only restaurants that we all wanted to return to.

We had a very disappointing experience in this restaurant. The waiters seemed disinterested and there was perhaps a feeling of some discontent. It was a Sunday evening and maybe they were just tired but they lacked any enthusiasm. Our waiter, Paulo, did not make any eye contact and seemed quite bored. The menu sounded interesting but unfortunately did not deliver.... More

Dear Mr. Jon, thank you for his recenzione, I just wanted to say a few times after a week of work (perhaps) and say (maybe) we can be tired even us poor humans physically, and I think on the Sunday in question, although I do not remember . I'm sorry for the rabbit, many bones and little meat, but maybe... More

We arrived in Florence in the afternoon and was recommended this place for its local cuisine and good price. We had apasta chef special dish to share. Red wine and Three massive plates of pasta later and limoncello with the bill we were in great spirits and were thrilled with the cheap bill to add to the great evening! Lovely... More

I have had dinner in this place twice, 2012 and 2015. It did impress me on both visits. Food was good and reasonable. Highly recommended!

This place is fantastic for a traditional Italian meal. The pasta is cooked al dente, the sauces are prepared with recipes passed down for generations and the entire staff is warm, welcoming and accomodating. You can eat very well here, for a reasonable price and actually try Italian food, the way Italians eat it. I love this place, it is... More

We made pasta from scratch as part of a class and the chefs at il Cantinone prepared it for us. It was absolutely fantastic. Very talented cooks. Don't let the small front door and basement-like entry fool you! Be prepared though, it is very small so go early! Enjoy!

Great food and great staff! We were looking for authentic Italian food on our trip and we found it here. In addition to the great food, the staff was wonderful offering us wine and lots of different foods to try after things calmed down late at night. I would HIGHLY recommend!
