Always a great idea to visit a city's central marketplace to discover the culianry backbone of the place. This stall is a hidden gem. The trip and boiled beef was awesome and we split a plate of each between 3 people. Really good and cheap chianti as well. Staff are helpful and the emals are very nicely seasoned. A great... More

I didn't brave the tripe, but the boiled beef roll with green sauce and a drop of chilli still calls to me. One day I will be back and my first stop in Florence will be here.

A place for all foodies. A market place stacked with fresh and delicious Tuscan produce, with a selection of bars and food stands. Here you can have some amazingly fresh prosciutto and pasta at a fraction of what you pay at top restaurants, and you have the eperience of the market place. A great find. A must-see for anyone interested... More

We found the food market by accident and walking around saw a large queue waiting on something. Investigating, we saw that they were waiting on filled bread rolls. Obviously if they were waiting, it must be good. And it was. We tried a beef and a pork filled roll. Best fast food in the city. If the guys maybe smiled,... More

sliced beef sandwich was good, my husband enjoyed the Tripe. Long line, but good food. It was a scene, glad we got to try a local favorite.

Going to the market in Florence was really interesting and good fun but finding this place was prob the highlight of our second day. We shared bruschetta and a penne pasta. Along with two drinks it only cost about eight euros. Simply the best pasta I have ever tasted. You sit at small tables at the side of the market... More

I agree with what previous reviewers have said about the location and quality of the food at this deservedly popular lunch spot. I don't like tripe, so seeing it described as a tripe stand would be misleading to me--there are LOTS of choices of food here, all homemade on the spot. You can point and pick, then carry your trays... More

Very good value, tasty and quick lunch. A must have in Florence. Worthwhile waiting if there is a queue, it moves pretty quickly.

We were walking around the market in the morning and getting hungrier by the minute. We asked a local where we could get food and he recommended this small stand. They had excellent meat cooked and served on a bun. It was really good and the perfect snack to tide us over to lunch.

We were at the market to pick up some cheese, bread, fruit and veggies to take back to our apartment and stumbled upon this stall that sells a variety of sandwiches and light meals. I had roast beef on a crispy bun and my husband had pork. Both were unbelievably tasty. My husband commented that he'd never seen me look... More
