A small but fine traditional trattoria much frequented by Florentines too smart to overspend for simple food well prepared and true to the best florentine traditions. If they have it try the borgo scopeto red wine--outstanding.

Not in the center of town but totally worth a visit. Always packed with locals, not that easy to get a reservation. Excellent food and super nice staff. Prices are what you would expect in a Trattoria like this one, not that cheap but honest for what you get.

This restaurant was a walk from the bed and breakfast we were staying at outside of Porta Romana. The place was packed with locals so we knew we'd made a good choice. The menu changes every week and the food is plentiful and Tuscan. The staff were super as were the locals who chatted with us. The surroundings are very... More

Read about this place all over and had to visit. Was in Florence for three nights and we went here twice. Brought my 10 and 14 year old and our favorite waiter, Ivan, made them feel right at home. All the reviews are spot on. You must try the vegetable soup, which is one of my favorite things i have... More

We almost gave up trying to find this place following the Trip Advisor map. Eventually found it at No.33 - about 100m toward the city centre from its spot on the map. Glad we persisted though. Had a very good meal, in authentic Tuscan surroundings. The place is full of locals, which is always a good sign, and was packed.... More

I am amazed at previous reviews - very disappointing meal. My crostini were 3 slices of bread with a very " loose" pâté . No garnish of any kind. Tuna and beans was just that. Some tepid flavourless white beans with tinned tuna -no other flavours or garnish. Husbands pork chop is still sticking in his teeth! Dry, tasteless, flavourless.... More

Small hole in the wall tavern with good food and staff. The potatoes that came with the osso buco were unbelievably good. The pork chops were very good. The local will get priority so make a reservation.

First night, hotel booked us in here. Great staff, reasonable prices, not touristy, really good food. Really recommend this place.

Authentic Florence food, I ordered the spaghetti "carretiera" with was very good, a little spicy for me but ok. The house wine is also very tasty and the price is on the same value from other places I was in Rome and Florence. Only complain I hace is the desert y I ordered a LemonSorvet with was 5 euros, very... More
