If you want an authentic eatery where the locals frequent, you have to eat here. The wait staff doesn't speak much English, but they are friendly to tourists that are interested in enjoying an authentic Tuscan meal. This small trattoria is simply fabulous offering superb dishes at good prices. All our dishes were fantastic: tasty ragu, fabulous arrabiatta sauce with perfectly cooked pasta, and our mains were awesome. The wonderful service of a waiter who spoke perfect English and was very friendly made it all even more special. Highly recommended! Five stars

Place: Made a reservation to check out the place, which is across the river from the Duomo. We arrived at 8pm and the place was soon packed by the time we left an hour later. A friend recommended this place as one that was away from the touristy areas - too far to walk from center of Florence. But we took a taxi and it was well worth it. Great food.
