We stumbled across this restaurant only because we were having accomodation issues, and we are so glad that we did! Our Italian is sub-par, but that was no issue. They are such wonderful hosts and the service was friendly and fast. We had the mozzarella starter which we ordered without knowing what it was, and it was delicious! We then... More

We found this on Trip Advisor. It was literally a block away from our hotel, but we would've never seen it without TA. They have a little patio out back, which was the best atmosphere weather wise and away from the hustle and bustle of the street (like other patios). We tend to look for the quirkiest appetizers, so we... More

We found this restaurant in the Santo Spirito neighborhood near the apartment we were staying in. We felt welcomed when we entered. There is an interesting menu with wild boar and quail. We shared three different dishes and a carafe of wine at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. It is off the tourist track but well... More

Went to this place in Oltrarno on the "other" side of the river on advice from TA. It is located among mostly shops and apartments on a semi-busy street. We sat in the back garden. The place was full of locals, but they have menus printed in several languages. Unlike many places, the "service", bread and water are no charge.... More

We stumbled across this place by accident, and somewhat out of desperation after a long walk to a restaurant we couldn't find. We had the best meal we've had in a long time! Fantastically tasty, and a great variety of vegetarian options. Service was very good and friendly. Can't recommend this highly enough!

It was our first night in Florence and although we hadn't made reservations they kindly accommodated us. Food was outstanding and the service was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Very gracious service - they truly made me feel welcome. Their patio in back is pleasant and obviously an Italian family hangout too. Plenty of veggie choices - I had plain white beans as an appetizer (nothing special), but the pici w veggies was very good. I did not have room for dessert after that huge portion of pasta!

Everything we ordered was beyond expectation, a lot of nodding heads around the table when we asked how each other's meal was. Fantastic service, very helpful staff. A selection of different language menus. Outside dining looked amazing, inside could do with a decor spruce up but overall very very good experience.

Once again, thank God for trip advisor. We used the app near our hotel to find this little gem. We had a terrific meal in the patio area that we really enjoyed. We didn't order the bistecca, although we noticed every table around us was raving about it. We ate a much lighter fare. I highly recommend the wild boar... More
