First meal in Italy ever and I was blown away!!

Had the pleasure of dining in this gem of a place when I was visiting Florence. The food was creatively prepared and we'll presented. The combination of ingredients worked really well. Service was also fantastic. The restaurant is located a bit further out from the touristy areas. It has an open garden at the back for a laid back atmosphere.... More

Booked a table and sat in the walled garden at the back of the restaurant. The lady who served us was very friendly and accommodating. Spoke some English and had a menu in English too. Went for the boar pasta dish which was absolutely fantastic. My wife had a truffle dish which was nice but too rich for my tastes.... More

Went in for dinner on a whim and they gave us a great table even though we didn't have a reservation. The ravioli was fantastic - porcini with a pea sauce. Pasta was wafer thin and full of stuffing. Sauce was fantastic! Wait staff was very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

"Ash" steak fillet, boar spaghetti, pasta dishes, & melted pecorino with porcini rounded out the most unique tastiest meals we had during our 5 night stay in Florence. Little tricky to find but so worth it and great open courtyard. Wait staff was absolutely fabulous & could not have done more. Menu has English

Small local place with not too many people and therefore not too loud. Our waitress was exceptionally nice and was kind enough to attempt her English with us. How appreciative we were for that. The food was very good and obviously very fresh. Not the typical Italian pizza joint. I highly recommend it!

My roommate and I stayed in an Airbnb next door so found this restaurant by accident. Thank god because this was our best meal in Italy by far. The service and food were absolutely amazing. Between the two meal we ate at the restaurant, we had the eggplant ravioli, the pork and truffle pasta, ravioli in pea sauce, pasta with... More

I spotted this trattoria whilst returning to my hotel from the train station and was so pleased to have returned there a few days later because it was very welcoming with a lovely garden. Florence is packed with bars and restaurants and I didn't have a bad meal during my 5-night visit but my very best meal was here! As... More
