Wonderful dining experience with outstanding service

This restaurant was recommended by our AirBnB host, who reserved a table on our behalf. It was one of our restaurant highlights in three weeks in Italy. We were so pleased with the service and menu that we dined here twice during our stay in Firenze. Our server/owner guided us expertly to make food and wine choices agreeable to our particular interests and we were consistently pleased. The food is prepared with care and served with pride. Do make a reservation, and do ask for guidance.

Family owned, excellent food and wine. Small. Make reservations. Its Italy, so the opening hours are definitely something to keep in mind if your are use to things being always open (like in NYcity), lunch is from 12pm to 2:30pm only and dinner from 7 pm to 10:30pm.

A nice setting in a quietish street this resturant has busy, friendly and efficient staff. The menu is geared to authentic tuscan cusine but frankly for the Euros you could do better and go left at the next street and go to the Touch resturant. For 77 euros for two we got some stale pano, two servings of some nice... More

We loved this restaurant so much that we came back even though we had only 5 nights in Florence. The Staff is very accommodating and made great wine selections. Tonight, I had the goat cheese, fruit, walnut and honey starter. Delicious!

I've been searching for high-quality, geniune Italian food in Florence and I was told to go there - I wasn't disappointed. The service is simply excellend - waitress was very nice and helpful, especially when we were choosing a wine (it was great!), she also spoke a few languages and she could easily communicate with her clients. The meals also... More

I fell in love with Acquacotta when I was staying nearby in 2012. When I arrived in Florence with a friend in March, 2015, I couldn't wait to visit. We agreed it was by far our best meal in Florence. I came back with a different friend in April, 2015 and my other friend liked it so much we came... More

My girlfriend and I chanced upon this place whilst roaming the streets of Firenze looking for a lunch spot. We had stuffed rabbit with roasted potatoes and a saffron and zucchini flower risotto, both were excellent. It seemed to be popular with locals and made a welcome break from the tourist trap restaurants. Would highly recommend!

We were recommended this restaurant. The earliest dinner reservation we could get was 9:30PM, which shows how popular this place is. The restaurant was busy, but the waitress was happy to explain the menu and recommend some alternatives as our first preferences were sold out for the night. We tried the cured meat plate, and the artichoke antipasti. Nice start... More
