Delicious!

The man at the front desk of our hotel recommended this restaurant and we are so glad we went! We went on a Saturday evening and although we didn't have a reservation they got us in (party of 2). We ordered the asparagus appetizer which was amazing if you're a cheese lover. My husband ordered... read more

I visited Acquacotta for lunch upon the recommendation of a tour guide and was pleasantly surprised to find there was a 12,50 fixed price lunch that provided nice choices, water, and a glass of wine! I enjoyed a yummy fresh bean and sheep-cheese antipasto and a very delicious, traditional and hearty catfish stew--and treated then myself to a wonderful Tiramisu.... More

A fantastic restaurant offering authentic Tuscan cuisine, great ambience and friendly service. Loved it so much, I went every night during my stay in Florence! And it was only a few minutes walk away from my hotel! The prices were reasonable and affordable. The only downside is that it is a very long wait inbetween meals, and feels like a... More

My dinner partner was very happy with the sirloin steak but i was rather disappointed to learn that the aubergine was sold out, and the supposedly baked potatoes turned out to be soggy and roasted and the accompanying vegetable, although nicely cooked were quite cold by the time they arrived. The sorbet was very good

The husband is the chef and the wife runs front of the house. Younger sister helps with service. The family love shines through in the quality of the meal and the service. Yes, we will be back. FYI- this trattoria was recommended by the staff at Four Seasons!

We went here based on recommendations and I have to say that i am with the few previous reviewers who did not rate this place so highly. The food was Ok (although mains were delivered to the table with quite a gap between my food and my wife's food) but nothing exceptional. The Tirisamu was possibly one of the worst... More

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, good food. Family run restaurant where we had such an enjoyable time we returned two nights later and repeated the experience.

We enjoyed one of the best meals we've ever had in Italy and that is saying something. The staff service was wonderful and very attentive. The food was excellent, including the rabbit, and the desserts and limoncello ended a wonderful meal. The service was not slow unless you're used to American fast food restaurants. This is Italy, people.

The restaurant is quaint and serves local fare. The food was OK but not that special. The service we received was indifferent which we found unusual in our visit to Florence and Tuscanny. This place is not to be avoided but it's not special either.

Service was great even if a bit slow. Food was GREAT and that's the most important thing :) The place is nice, small but comfortable.
