One of the best of our trip - we returned a few nights later.

This was recommended by my Food Tours of Rome guide, Bruno and he was not wrong. Very accomodating of our little one and amazing food. Highly recommended.

Recommended by our B&B hosts, this restaurant was one of the best we tried in Italy. There is an authenticity of the place and the dishes that made us feel we were sampling real Tuscan food. Service was very good, friendly staff, and the food was delicious. If I ever get to return to Florence, I will make an effort... More

We walked in on a Sunday evening around 6:30PM and were told they could not seat us until 9PM. We killed time at a nearby bar, came back at 9 and were promptly seated. Service was a bit slow, but the food overall was very good. The restaurant had simple decor and we were the only non-Italian patrons (usually a... More

My husband and I were looking for an authentic Italian/Tuscan restaurant that was casual dining. We found this place in our Lonely Planet guide and then saw the great reviews on here. VERY worthy of these reviews! Upon entering, we were greeted by a very friendly waitress who appeared to be part of the family that owned the restaurant. She... More

It was a busy evening when I arrived, staying locally, and I was struck by the warmth of the welcome and the quality of the food. There was a homemade ravioli to die for

We ate here based on the recommendation of the hotel concierge. It was our first night in Florence. We wanted something casual with good / authentic Italian food. We could not have been happier with this choice. Would highly recommend.

Went here on Christmas on the recommendation of my hotel. The place was moderately busy, mainly with Italians. The waitress told us that it was a set menu for Christmas (one page menu with little variety). None of the dishes seemed particularly appetising, but we went with the ravioli and crepes for entrées and turkey for mains. Both dishes were... More

My husband & I were in Florence for 3 days. We wanted authentic Italian food at a family restaurant. After searching Trip Advisor, we settled on Acquacotta. We took a taxi from the St. Regis Hotel to the restaurant. It seemed to be in the middle of a neighborhood. As a matter of fact, our taxi driver had never been... More

Came here for dinner on the advice of hotel staff and loved it. Ordered the bistecca alla Fiorentina and it was beautifully cooked, delicious and the waitress was very helpful and friendly. Great local atmosphere away from the crowds. Must try!

We chose this restaurant for our first night in Florence, since we knew that it was located near our hotel. We arrived at 6:55 and saw the sign that said they opened at 7. It's a cheerful little place with checked tablecloths and a homey feel. My husband started out with mixed cold cuts and I had goat cheese with... More
