The restaurant is cozy and welcoming with a great menu. The pasta is wonderful and imaginative as is the cheesecake, not to mention Niko our waiter who kept us in stitches all night. Would eat here again in a heartbeat.

We had dinner there and from the beginning we felt very welcomed. We tasted some good wine and ate the reccommendations of our garzon. It is a perfect place to eat fresh pasta!

This place will not disappoint. The lemon zest spaghetti is one of the pasta dishes I have ever tried. The cheese cake was amazing. Wish I could gone there three more times!

I ate here 15 years ago on a friend's advice, and he wasn't wrong then. I ate here again last week, and the food was still great. We split a Tuscan steak that was enough meat for four people. The cheese cake is still the best ever. And as always, the funky atmosphere was great.

This restaurant was suggested to us by friends who had eaten here. We were greeted warmly and treated with kindness and respect by all staff. It was our first dinner out in Florence. We started with bruschetta with buffalo mozzarella, followed by the pasta with porcini mushrooms and their signature pasta with citrus flavored sauce. Both were delicious. Salads next... More

The décor of this restaurant is unusual, to say the least, certainly in the room where we were seated. Somewhat weird--not in a bad way--murals cover the walls. The owners are very accommodating and personable, and the food is quite good. There are several good veal dishes to choose from; I went with the veal and avocado, which was very... More

My wife and I had our first meal in Italy at Trattoria Gargani. Half-way through her main course, she said, "this is the best meal I have ever had." We shared a salad and then my wife had the pesto pasta and the veal with avocado. I got pasta with spicy tomato sauce and then the fillet with green pepper... More

This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend who frequents Florence. Thank goodness we had our hotel keep calling for a reservation ( they are not open for lunch so nobody there to answer phone) We started with beef carpaccio which was sliced thicker than normal...FABULOUS, we could actually taste the flavor of the meat and cheese!! For our dinner... More

The place was great, had the ravioli. Very unique interior, warm and inviting. The staff hustles to make sure you are enjoying your visit. The food alone makes it a great spot, the mood of the place is just an added bonus! Excellent!

Our concierge recommended this place and it was the best. I ordered the veal with avocado and a creme and truffle oil sauce. I wanted to lick my plate it was so good. If I had not ordered bruchetta which was also very good for my appetizer, I would have ordered a second plate. I had the cheese cake which... More
