Safe choice for hungry people!

Although popular with tourists, the food is not at all tourist-y. It offers great variety of dishes and there are a lot of wine selections as well! We had carbonara and rigatoni al pomodoro, hearty portions, great taste! The restaurant is nicely decorated and there are many tables outdoors, which... read more

Next to the market of Florence.

I have been twice in Florence, each time for a 4 days trip. Luckily the 2nd time an Italian friend suggest it to me. Sure it is a touristic trattoria, but not like those who serve you trash and overcharge. It is a little overpriced, but 90% deserves its money. I loved the place because I am a truffle fan...so... Once we discovered this restaurant, we had to come back again. We ate there 4 times, and the food was always great. Mostly the service was also nice, but one evening we had a very unfriendly waiter, who didn't really pay attention. When he put the bill on the table, he didn't even look at us. Besides this man everything... More

Was there with a group. Food was not exceptional, just average. Service was OK, but not special. Overall too busy, too touristic. It feels like any other touristic place in a busy city. For me not a place to return

I had the pleasure of revisiting Firenze again last November. Being a "food lover" my number one destination was to head back to Za Za's, a fantastic Trattoria with excellent food and service. I was not disappointed, all of our meals were beautiful. I purchased their two cookbooks which are both great, providing details on the history of the Trattoria... More

Even in February brave youngsters were dining outside. My wife and I were given a neat little table in the warm interior. Service was quick. The housewine certainly drinkable and worth the few Euro's. We had - like good Italians - pasta that was fine and levely main courses. About as many foreigners as Italians in Za Za which is... More

This place was recommended by a florentine architect I me on a train. Rough and ready seating outside but kept warm with heaters. Family particularly liked fried zucchini flowers and my freshly made gnocchi with crab sauce. To be honest the crab was impossibly messy thanks to being covered with sauce, so I gave up trying to extract every last... More

This restaurant looks small and somewhat dingy from the outside, but once inside it is full of character and expands like the Tardis. We had gone in looking for a sandwich for lunch, but none were on the menu so had a delicious bowl of pasta. The fashion show on the TV was interesting for a while, but by the... More

My husband and I ate here on our first night in Florence. The restaurant was busy with a good atmosphere. We could not fault the food or the prices....all delicious and reasonably priced. Unfortunately the service was really poor. There were plenty staff on but they were too busy fooling around instead of serving. When our main course arrived we... More

My daughter and I had lunch on Zaza restaurant on 14.02. We eat Ceaser sallad and Carpaccio. Terrible food has nothing to do with italien food. Don´t take the risk avoid that touristic restaurant not worth the money. Even if we complained to the servent she only reduced a little of the total amount.
