Excellent eatery. Right in the heart of the market area. Cool decor and extensive menu. My whole family enjoyed. I get pasta everywhere and I was not disappointed...I even bought the english translation cookbook and have used it extensively. It is right next to another great place, Trattoria Mario. Either or both are a must.

My husband and I went to Italy for our honeymoon. We stayed in Florence for four days. We went to Za Za's the first night due to a friend's recommendation and loved it. I got the baked eggplant and my husband got the mushroom risotto. The house wine was even amazing. Then the apple tart finished off our dinner. It... More

We was at za-za only for Bisteca ala Florentina (recomanded from Basilea hotel) and it was very good. 1.25 kg for 2 persons 4euro/100gr, Each piece start from 1 kg. The red wine (recomanded from za-za) was perfect (5 euro/500ml).

The location of this restaurant can’t be beat – just over from the Mercato Centrale. We were really impressed with the extensive menu which included options for people who don’t eat red meat or poultry, like us. They have a truffle menu and I was thrilled with the asparagus risotto with truffles. My husband had pizza and was pleased with... More

Stopped in for lunch with family. Kids enjoyed a delicious pizza margarita, we split amazing appetizers of toast with house made spreads of pate, bruschetta and chile spread that was amazing. My partner enjoyed the lasagna and my pasta with tuna was fantastic, al dente and seasoned lightly with chile ... Perfect. Highly recommend.

We went to Za Za based on a friend's recommendation and Trip Advisor. It took me a while to work out what bothered me. The location was nice, atmosphere lively, service good. Problem was, I felt like I could have been in any large restaurant in the world and the kitchen was just dialing it in. The food was good-not... More

Good service, tasty food (had one of their big salads and a margerita pizza), cute ambience. Overall a very nice evening. I had a couple better meals in Florence, but this is a good choice for a large selection of options and a nice setting.

Found this trattoria after two weeks of eating marvelous plates in Tuscany, but to have the luck to eat here while the black truffle season and special menu is available is a dream come true! The best fresh home made pasta, outstanding preparation, delicious truffle shaven on top of a wonderful pasta and most excellent ingredients, made this place a... More

This is located close to the Mercato Centrale. They have the most extensive menu ever, incliding a full truffle menu, a full fish menu and a full regular menu. So each full menu includes different primi and secondi. There is also a side dish menu seperate from salad menu. So you do not have to order french fries only. I... More

Whatever you order here, you can not go wrong. I ordered the chicken with truffle sauce and was NOT disappointed. Very nice balanced taste to the food, paired with the nice house Red wine. There was a wait even at 10pm so try to go a little early or make reservations if you can. If possible get a seat outside.... More
