We ate here after a stroll through the Piti palace and Boboli gardens, had been here on a previous trip and remembered it being absolutely delicious, it didn't disappoint the second time around, almost 4 years later. Had the pasta with the consiglio (rabbit) ragu. It was amazing! And the waitress complimented my suggestion. It was definitely the right choice.

We didn't. But, we were lucky. We arrived just in time for La Casalinga to open for dinner and we found a line of people and families, some with reservation, and many without. The two of us managed to get a table, as did the couple behind us in line, but that's where luck ran out. While we enjoyed our... More

Recent discovery - this is a wonderful trattoria with excellent traditional food, good atmosphere, friendly service and great chianti wine. It is very good value for money. The Santo Spirito area is marvellous.

We were fortunate enough to find this place near the end of their lunch service. It is an energetic place frequented by more locals than tourists. There is no English on the menu and the waiters speak very little English so be ready to point and gesture. Pasta was fresh and tasty. Service was good and price was reasonable. But... More

We visited the restaurant twice during our sort stay in Florence. The food was excellent, the staff very kind and efficient, the prices very reasonable. We felt very welcomed. It is recommended to future travellers to the beautiful city of Florence.

This was one of the best trattoria we visited in Italy. The food was regional and flavours outstanding. The anti pasta was true to Tuscan style, the pasta perfectly cooked. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the food. The service was friendly, helpful and professional.

Wife found this place on yelp when we were wandering out. And what a find! We had the caprese salad, daily special chicken, and lasagna. The chicken was moist and amazing, and the lasagna was unlike anything I've ever had before. It's kind of softer and more disassociated as far as its layers go. But so soft and cheesy and... More

This was the most charming evening in Florence. This casual, busy local place was absolutely charming in atmosphere and amazing food. We had the Pasta Bolognese and pasta with ham and cream sauce....to die for! but be sure to make reservations! If you don't, you will be greeted by a fast moving very Italian owner who will sat "Oh, so... More
