Pasta special

Good value, traditional restaurant in the centre of Florence with a slight German influence. We had a quick lunch with a brisk turnaround. The highlight was the mixed past for two, served over a hot plate. The restaurant was busy and service was efficient and quick. Probably not worth booking... read more

This small (maybe thirty places) restaurant was quite a surprise. I expected a "home cooked" cuisine, and instead found a gourmet presentation of traditional Tuscan dishes. The house chianti was excellent and well priced. The servers were attentive and very friendly. It was a great meal. I look forward to going back.

We went twice Dec 2014 whilst we were on a short break in Florence. The lovely girl waitresses who work in the restaurant are great very friendly and give great service. The food was great very fresh. The 1st day we went I had the Tortellini with truffle sauce (amazing) and the 2nd day I had the pork with prunes... More

Was there with my son, who had been before with friends, my wife and my niece. The food here is worth waiting for. You have to have any of their pastas offered, the bread and oil at the beginning of the meal is a real treat after walking the streets of Florence and working up an appetite. And the salad... More

This restaurant was recommended to us as the one we wanted to go to was booked. I'm so glad that we went! It's tucked back away from the crowded piazzas. The inside is charming and cozy. Our waitress was friendly and helpful and the tortellini was amazing. They have outside seating but we opted for inside. We would definitely go... More

Frequented by the Florentines and tourists in this small and crowded beer garden in the center of Florence you will eat very well at a good price. There is a menu of the day but there are also several other options to choose from. The atmosphere is pleasant both in winter and in summer when you can eat outside in the... More

For those who likes the beer and good food , is a nice no too expensive place for eat . I think it's perfect for a rainy day. I highly recommend the "primo piatto" called "assaggi di pasta" for two persons 8€ each .

Stumbled across Birreria Centrale while we were looking for somewhere else but so glad we did! Friendly staff, warm atmosphere and good food for great value. The tuscan ragu was fantastic!

The food was delicious. The lasagna was amazing! House red was not very good. Tables are crowded! This restaurant was frequented by locals and the prices were very reasonable.

This cute little restaurant is right in the heart of Florence, amidst all the historical sites on a little piazza. The food is very good, very inexpensive, and the menu is interesting with lots of choices. Seating spills out from inside to the sidewalk. As the name implies, they cater more to beer drinkers than wine drinkers. The house wine... More
