Very cosy diner

This restaurant was recomended by a friend and it was a wonderful surprise. Very small but very cosy. The rissotto was very very good and the service too. I would recomend it!

Florence is limited for shisha, and this place is one of 3 that we could find. As this was the closest one to us, we chose this. It was interesting how they turn a restaurant at night into a shisha smokers area. The vibe was good watching people walk by. Drinks were standard and the shisha was good.

We were for dinner and we ordered ravioli and bistec with truffle sauce. Very good quality/price. House wine could be better, and the speed of the plates can be improved. We recommend the place.

Have visited a few times now, and have been very satisfied every time. Good food, decent menu variety, friendly staff and nice ambience make this a good choice for small groups.

Great service! Our mains - lasagna and gnocchi were really delicious much better than the food at more expensive restaurants we visited in Rome. Great Tuscan wine for €10 a bottle. The dessert that we shared - chocolate pie with cream seemed to be microwaved but still good.

Was recommended this place by a friend. We managed to stumble on it when we were out and about, so noted location and found it again in the evening. Great table service, really quaint setting inside the restaurant, candle lit and authentically Tuscan. Only slight disappointment was asking for the bill twice and s having to go up and pay... More

Great Steak Florentine for 2 salad plus house red. Steak was cooked medium? By kitchen more like medium rare which was as we preferred. Asked for med-rare server responded the kitchen would go crazy. But steak was perfectly done seasoned well 2" thick about 1kilo or 2 lbs we ate it all. Ate outdoors because we didn't have reservations. Small... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
