Went here after reading the TripAdvisor reviews and so glad we did ... it was excellent! A really nice homely / local feel and the food was excellent and very flavoursome. It is no surprise that this place gets busy. We managed to get a table at lunch time and then went to go back on another evening but it... More

I think that the reviews here are horribly misleading. The food here is heavily Americanized. It is mediocre and the service was very poor. Please don't waste your time here. You are in Florence, go for authenticity.

We intended to visit the sister restaurant next door - but the whole of that was booked for a party, and the staff suggested going to here...so we did! We weren't disappointed... And especially after the friendly welcome we had, the delicious food and the extra attention we got when they found out it was my partners birthday... We started... More

This cozy restaurant offers delicious food. The four of us had an appetizer of traditional cured meat and cheese that was excellent. Then we had magnificent pasta (tortelloni di patate). The desserts are fantastic and well made. We had panna cotta and crema catalana, both very tasty and delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place very cozy.

I went there to have dinner with my wife but we did't find an empty table. So we decided to reserve a table for the next day and the waitress said it will be available at 9.00 pm and we agree. Next day at the time we found our table is ready we orderd the big plate of beef for... More

Great food, unique atmosphere and we even had a chance to see a small play of the "Divine Comedy" during dinner and enjoyed although we're Jewish :) We had one of our best meals ever at this place. Highly recommended!

The place looks a little interesting and the lady that seats you is so incredibly rude. She said she hates tourist. She was so rude to everyone that walked in but we decided to stay because we were hungry. I got the truffle gnocchi and it was amazing. We tried to go back because of the food and she said... More

We went to this very small restaurant at 8 p.m. and we were told we could be seated if we stayed for a maximum of an hour....no problem for us. My daughter and I split the 3 Italian sampler for 16 euros and my husband was not very hungry so he ordered just the caprese salad. We ordered a carafe... More

It's a small restaurant and not very comfortable but the food is delicious and great value. Try the crostini toscani, the cheese plate, the gnocchi in gorgonzola or the tagliata. Everything is delicious and excellent value!
