This is a small restaurant with typical but limited Tuscan mene which is delicious. Restaurant people have told me that a small menu means the food is fresh and it was the case here. Service was very good and the house wine was excellent The restaurant is easy to miss as it has a small footprint on via Guelfa just... More

Me and my wife looked this place up on tripadvisor and we were the first customers of the evening service. We found a table on the quite and calm little garden. The guy who took care of us( probably the owner) was polite and calm. He made us feel like we weren't tourists which is comforting. We weren't rushed to... More

Stumbled across this restaurant by accident whilst walking around the side streets of Florence and it was a great surprise. We sat in the garden at the back of the restaurant which is surrounded by lots of over growing house plants/greenery to give it an authentic al fresco atmosphere. The food and service were very good.

I have stayed on Via Guelfa for several years and never went into this restaurant until this past January - and I am glad I did. The space itself is a true tuscan Osteria and extremely comfortable. The server, Alberto, was very friendly and helpful. I had the tripe (one of my all time favorite dishes) and this dish was... More

When you enter the cameriere welcome you and bring you at ease in a very few moment. Pastas are very good, served hot and the wine from the casa is pretty good. The service is kind of personnalized and it's a big difference among others... If you're in this area, try it once and come back there again after, it's... More

My friends were happy with their pasta, but my seafood spagetti was cold and the clams/prawns were straight from the fridge and added later. When I complained the young male waiter started arguing with me and said that's how they served it in Italy! Luckily his boss, who heard the waiter, and was very nice, took my plate away to reheat.... The food here is delicious and home style. Excellent quality ingredients (fresh and tasty mozarella) and hand made pasta. Delicious flavours and friendly service. Its a little out of the way but worth the walk. Would love to go again,

We went to this restaurant somewhat as a default when we could not get a reservation at two others. It is very casual, almost rustic/cabin-like in appearance. One could easily miss it while walking by. The menu is fairly small but with enough variety that all were satisfied. There was one waiter, who was very enthusiastic and funny. Our table... More

We went there on our first night in Florence. The food was decent as well as the house wine and the prices were very good. We sat in the back courtyard which was decorated with many plants and made for a relaxing atmosphere. Not the cleanest restrooms (that's putting it nicely). Overall nothing special but recommendable for a tight budget... More

We've just come back from this place and it was great. It has Tuscan specialities and other Italian favourites. We shared the pecorino and pear to start, then I had gnocchi with walnut and gorgonzola, while my boyfriend had potato tortelli with ragu. We shared a panna cotta with red berry sauce to finish. Everything was delicious and the price... More
