Best wine and pasta combination !

Great place with a very nice wine list from the region and Italy in general. Dishes are prepared in front of you in the open kitchen and the service is nice! Had a wonderful pasta al ragu... Highly recommended

We were looking forward to dinner here, since the guidebooks rated it quite highly, but it was a let-down. Although the starters were ok, the main courses were pretty poor - my wife's ravioli were undercooked (or rather, which is worse, some orb them were), and my duck was tough. They have an encyclopaedic wine-list, but whatever you ask for,... More

GustaVino tries to be different. Chef Zana is adventuresome in her combinations which will not be found at other restaurants in Florence. Take Cosimo's (the head waiter) suggestions, or at least entertain them, and you're likely to come away with an exceptional meal. The wine list is wonderful--The restaurant is owned by the Gruppo Guarnieri which has its own farms... More

I had a quick read of the menu before I walked into the restaurant. The menu looked interesting and different. However, I was quite disappointed when the food arrived. It was nothing special. I appreciate that it may have been a busy night, but I was given a table near the kitchen, in a corner and didn't feel quite attended... More

Really great place for laye afternoon wine tasting session. They offer nice selection of food next to large selection of wines (mostly chianti or Tuscan). Staff is very nice and helpful selecting right wines and food. Next door they have also formal restaurant.

Drawn to it first by its handsome, atypically - for this particular block - modernist interiors and ambitious menu - you enter wanting to love this restaurant. The friendly greeting reinforces your optimism – the host is charming, generous, attentive, in other words Florentine. With a significant, glass-walled wine cave backing one of particular intimate, window front table, you are... More

Warm welcome. Should be in the Michelin Rouge. Starters and main dishes are over the average whereas the wine list is astonishing. Cosimo advices you about the best match between wine and meal: a good way to understand and discover the Italian wines. A definitely good address in Florence! Don't hesitate to try it.

We were in Florence for a week as a birthday treat for my wife and our final night was at the Gustavino who served the best meal of the trip. If we had gone there before we would have come back several times. The staff were very helpful and friendly which gave a relaxed atmosphere and the food was fantastic.... More

We had a lovely lunch here having stumbled across it based on how it looked from the outside. The restaurant seems to be split between a modern area and a more intimate space. We ate in the "back room" where all the wine is stored, which was truly charming. Such a lovely space to enjoy a good lunch and glass... More

We had a lot of fun with the very personable and patient "maitre d'", who was only too happy to accomodate. His passion is caged birds, in particular goldfinches and canaries. The food was very enjoyable - grilled octopus, zucchini risotto and seafood linguini were excellent. There was a good wine list for all tastes and prices. Allnin all, we... More
