Fabulous meal

Very attentive service, not at all overbearing. Complimentary prosecco was a classy touch. Allowed us to try a rose before buying. Food was incredibly good. The sea bass ravioli, duck and spiced pear dishes were world class. The only downer was the struggling air con, but it gad been 38C for a week!

Delicious, freshly prepared dishes that met the needs of a vegetarian and diverse group. Friendly, attentive staff who were upfront about the preparation time required for various dishes. The A/C was not able to offset the heat of the day, nor the view kitchen. Would return again in cooler weather.

We ate here on our wedding anniversary. I actually didn't want to go as I thought it looked too trendy and it was in the guide book so that usually bumps up the prices - but I am glad we did. The food was divine, freshly cooked practically in front of you as the kitchen is at the front so... More

My wife and had dinner at Gustavino. We started by sharing a salad and cheese, both were nicely prepared. For entree's she had fish and I had a steak, both nicely prepared. Gustavino did nice job accommodating our need for gluten free dining; they had an 'allergens menu' that let us order gluten free and they did have gluten free... More

What a find, we just happened to stumble across this superb restaurant. The food was fantastic with some amazing flavours. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the homemade pappardelle pasta was very tasty. Between courses it was suggested I try a different chianti wine which would go better with the course I had chosen, and how right they were -... More

What a relief to visit a modern-looking and tasting restaurant after days of more traditional fare. My niece and I were seated at a table for two in front of a wine room (for lack of a better word), with contemporary art and a view of street. Lovely. The staff recommended superb wine. And, we loved the goat cheese dip... More

The chef at this restaurant is several cuts above the ones we've experienced so far in Italy. She has sophisticated tastes and creates gourmet fare. The menu, though not extensive, has character, and so does the restaurant. It's small, but the decor is aesthetically pleasing as is the food. Be sure to try it when you're in Venice either for... Had an excellent dinner here. We started with the goat cheese mousse and a salad with fresh fruit. Both appetizers were good. The best part of the meal was the main course. I had the duck which was by far the best duck I have ever had. We also had the asparagus risotto which was cooked perfectly el dente not... More
