Having been recommended to use this restaurant by our excursion guide during our Princess cruise- we gave this a try 1. Counter staff indifferent 2. Cashier in another world 3. All waiters patronising and very, very rude. 4. Food delicious In the end I asked a guy on the counter why everything was so much trouble. He looked surprised and... More

We stayed 5 nights in Florence in Santa Croce near Finisterre and were blessed to have found this gem on our first night in Italy. Our server, Annetta, made us feel right at home. She was busy but always checked on us and was quite helpful with her wonderful menu recommendations. We had a great dinner on our first night... More

We were hungry and overheated in crowded Piazza Santa Croce, looking for lunch after our walking tour (and about a dozen other walking tours) ended. We took a chance on Finisterrae and were richly rewarded. Despite the lunch time throngs of tourists like ourselves, we did not have too long a wait to get a table outside. The outdoor dining... Our walking tour of Florence ended in the square and we were starving. Our guide recommended this restaurant. All of the outside spots were taken, so we ate inside. Service was a little spotty as the waiter had to also wait on a tour group, but we took it in stride. The pizza ingredients were fresh and flavorful, and the... More

Tour Guide also provided a location for good Gelato. Was excellent and decently priced. Our guide shared with us that this location uses a lot of fresh ingredients. Again, off the beaten path so you won't spend as much.

Had lunch right near Sante Cruche. Waitress was plain rude and ignorred guests. I ordered a beer with my pizza. It never came. I ordered another beer. It never came. When the waitress finally showed up she tried to clear my daughters plate while she was eating. Bill had both beers on it. I had the cashier remove them. The... More

Liz had the most delicious lasagne and I had one of the best pizzas I have tasted. First class service (we went for lunch) and very reasonable. Food, glass of wine and can of tango came to 23.50 euros, about £18.50. Couldn't fault this restaurant, would recommend it if in Florence. They have outdoor seating at the square and a... More

We came here for lunch on the advice of our tour guide after doing a walking tour of Florence. We got there around 11:30am and were seated indoors. We weren't aware there even was an option of outdoor seating or we would have requested that. Even at that early hour it was getting very busy. I had the pasta with... More

We ordered pasta with pesto which was just "okay". We were seated in the corner of the restaurant and were not given a courtyard option. Our harried waiter didn't speak a word of English. It didn't help that the American tourist at the table beside us thought that our waiter would understand English better if she spoke to him loudly.

Dear costumer, We are sorry that your visit at our restaurant wasn't excellent. It is possible that we seated you in this table because it was the only free and not booked at the moment you arrived. We are sorry that this waiter didn't speak English, if you'll come back another time we'll do the best to assign you an... More
