Casual lunch with a view of Santa Croce

This restaurant has outdoor seating in the plaza of Santa Croce. The view isn't quite as stunning as some restaurants in Piazza della Signoria, but it is a lot quieter. We had the Bistecca Fiorentina, which is too big for most people; even sharing we were both put to the test to finish it! The... read more

Amazing location, in Santa Croce square right next to the church!! Every room has a different set: malaga, napoli, tangier, marseille...!! Very tasty food and great atmosphere!

The food was excellent, we went right in to be seated. The wait staff, however, is non-existent. He forgot our drinks but doesn't come around to check on you so it's hard to ask. The food luckily was fantastic.

Very well located at the steps of Santa Croce. Cases full of delicious fresh pastries of every kind. The coffee was very good...and we are picky coffee drinkers. Always an espresso double. You do have to know what you want and pay at the cashier before going to the counter to get your order. This is a bit confusing as... More

We were staying in an apartment on the piazza santa croce, and this became our default breakfast destination. As you can see from our photos the are counters overflowing with the most mouth-watering pastries and cakes - and the coffe is good to match! This restaurant continues through several labyrinthine rooms and even a courtyard, and serves lunches and dinners... More

First things off, the waiter was really unfriendly as he greeted us. We ordered three pizzas and a salad. The salad arrived, as did two of the pizzas. We waited for about 5minutes before calling in the waiter to ask about the other plate. He barely knew what we originally ordered, thought it was lasagna. He came back in, saying... More

I went to this restaurant for my birthday with a group of friends. The place is amazing and the atmosphere is very elegant and classy. The food is great. I had the duck and it was fantabulous. The balance of ingredients, sauces and garnish is impecable. Same thing for the other dishes that my friends had. Kudos to the chef.... More

On a perfect sunny Christmas Day we had lunch (breakfast, really..) here. Sat in the sun and had a nice Santa Croce view. We both took pizzas. One parmigiano and one with 3 meats. They were big and tasted really great! Coffee was good as well. Personnel was friendly enough. Inside looked nice as well. Would recommend! Nice to have... More

We stayed in an apartment in Piazza Santa Croce and almost overlooked Finnesterrae, which turned out to be a very nice restaurant. Other reviewers have said that this place is popular with tourists but since we were in Florence during Christmas week we only saw locals enjoying themselves. The restaurant is very pretty and seems to go on forever. After... More

Our first port of call in Florence - located in the Piazza Santa Croce, it was very busy with business people and tourist alike. We just had cappuccino's but the croissant, pastries and toasted sandwiches looked great. Highly recommended.
