The staff at this restaurant were very friendly. The food was great and the location was great as it was away from the hustle and bustle from the Main Street. Good start for our first day in Florence!

Located in Piazza die Cimatori, this lively eatery didn't disappoint. Tempted by the smells we were welcomed by friendly staff, Giuseppe and Vanessa (spelling!?). The ambience is great, menu selection even better and the food simply superb. We enjoyed it so much we ate here for lunch and two dinners. A must try!

A convenient location near the Duomo, one of the few which we found open after 10pm when we arrived in Florence. They have home made pasta which was good. Some salads and grilled/fried (battered) veggies which are worth trying. The Chianti is also good. Nothing exceptional, but still a good one.

We intended to have a snack before setting off back for Umbria, but I got a yearning for a steaming plate of pasta before I could even contemplate moving! Thankfully we were directed to Ganino by our waiter from yesterday, and found it absolutely delightful. We sat out on an attractive covered terrace with the world passing by because it... More

We had a very nice dinner at da Ganino. The food was very good and the chef has made lasagnia that was not on a menu. The staff is very friendly and make sure that you are served at a higheat quality. The only thing on the downside was that we had to wait for the bill quite long due... More

We had our family Easter Sunday lunch at this restaurant where we've been before frequently. Again it did not disappoint! The food was so fresh and delicious and although we had to wait a little for our pasta we were given a free dessert to make up for it! The staff are so kind!

Ok so it was my wife's order as I got the pomodoro. I almost cried on the first bite. Hahaha Will definitely recommend this restaurant :)

We saw this restaurant while walking around Duomo and decided to try. In spite of being cold at night, we sat outside because there were no more tables available inside! It was a good experience! Food was very good (wide range of options), wine list was interesting and service was efficient.

Tucked away in the heart of Florence, Da Ganino was an excellent spot for dinner. They accommodated 10 of us for a meal and it was excellent. We shared a meal that was family style with appetizers, roasted potatoes, 4 types of meat and wine for 35 Euro a person. It was awesome.
