Dinner

The pasta is very good food, the staff are very friendly. Crema catalan very good also. Probably is better to make a reservation before.

We loved eating at this restaurant with our family. Lots of great dishes to try, we had to come back a few times! The procuitto crostini with truffle is a fave!

Great little spot in the heart of Florence. Vanessa and the girls there are very friendly and always smiling. My favorite is the roasted pork. The meat just falls off the bone. I've , been 3 times already and would go today if it wasn't Sunday. CLosed.. Great wine and can't wait til Monday when it opens.

Authentic, friendly, unpretentious. Ate here with family of four including two teens. We had been wanting to try a Florentine steak and were guided by the server to order a salad, two pastas to share and then the steak with vegetables. It was the right amount of food, delicious, all were satiated. We ate inside where it was a little... More

My wife and I had dinner here during a recent trip to Italy. Both of our meals were excellent. Wine was good. We ordered Vin Santo after the meal and coffee and the owner wouldn't let us pay for them .... such a nice gesture. All in all a really nice place to dine in Florence.

Six adults went for dinner one Saturday evening. The food was hot to the table, the service was good and choice was also good. Flavors were really not memorable but good standard fare at reasonable price.

We had lunch here and it was very decent. I give it three strong stars, as it was not bad but nothing out of the ordinary. If you still go (and there really is no reason as Florence is packed with better choices) I advice you to stay away from the mushroom pasta. Way over cooked. Once all the good... More

The business lunch crowd were in, always a good sign. Beautiful food with good ingredients. Pear salad and Wild boar (configurable) pasta were both excellent.

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
