Great foccace in a classic setting

We found Cantinetta dei Verrazzano (as in the bridge), and after a short wait got a table on the small outside area where we had a tagliere di focacce –a sampler of mini-foccaccia “sandwiches – which was plenty for lunch. It’s a beautiful narrow room with classic tables and chairs, and a very wide... read more

Had to ask the waitress twice to serve us and she kept saying one minute and never came back! Then she came back to take the order from people who came after Us! Then again she's aid she will be back.So due to poor service we just got up and left!

In the middle of all your shopping, this is a great place to sit and rest, grab a quick focaccia and a decent glass of wine (

Close to Piazza Della Repubblica .Lovely wood panelling and excellent service. Wine, tapas and cakes all really, really good. Would go back. Well worth trying. Feels authentic in a touristy area.

Our B&B owner directed us here for a late morning cappuccino but by the time we found the Cantina it was more like aperitivo time by our reckoning, and we were delighted to be seated on a pretty little outside terrace area at the front. Considering it was almost lunchtime by Italian body clocks we thought it kind of them... More

This is an old, well renowned, restaurant/wine bar which not only serves a great range of salads, sandwiches and light food, but also its own label wines, which are of high quality. Very popular with tourists and locals alike it is a place you should visit even if you are only on a short trip.

Stopped by twice on this visit and it's still a great place to enjoy a nice glass of wine and some interesting, freshly prepared food. This time we tried their Chianti Classico Reserva and it was delicious. An appetizer of thinly sliced bread that is made with their chianti and topped with fresh pecorino and honey was a hit, as... We stopped here hoping to have dinner. It is small, the tables are close together, but the atmosphere is very calming. We only had drinks and bruschetta but all was very good. The waiter was very helpful and charming. A nice experience and a great way to take a break from a busy day of sightseeing.

Eat the best lunch of your life here. The wine is perfectly fantastic. It couples with the oven breads and the game meats. Sitting in the darkened rooms, savoring the foods is a moment of life living decadence. This meal needs at least 2 hours. Part of the joy is seeing the joy and pleasure of the other diners.
