A nice spot for a drink and bruschetta

We stopped here hoping to have dinner. It is small, the tables are close together, but the atmosphere is very calming. We only had drinks and bruschetta but all was very good. Eat the best lunch of your life here. The wine is perfectly fantastic. It couples with the oven breads and the game meats. Sitting in the darkened rooms, savoring the foods is a moment of life living decadence. This meal needs at least 2 hours. Part of the joy is seeing the joy and pleasure of the other diners.

I have been visiting this place for years during my every journey to Florence. It’s one of my favorite and essential spots in Florence and I like it very much. At first, I want to pay attention that this place is officially connected to the famous wine (Chianti Classico) producer “Castello di Verrazzano” and represents this prominent winery here in... My family (2 adults, 3 teenagers) stopped here for lunch on our day in Florence. It had been recommended by our guide. Excellent service, excellent food. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful with suggestions. We would highly recommend!

Following an amazing walking tour of Florence, our guide personally walked us to Cantinetta dei Verrazzano. She knew the city's history and its present. Outstanding lunch of flatbread pizza and fresh vegetables and cheese.

Cantinetta dei Verrazzano is a happening eating place both for locals and tourists. It all started with a tall glass of freshly-squeezed orange juice and a tasty pizza snack eaten on the side benches of the cantinetta. The biscotti purchased as I passed the long pastry counter were melt-inyour-mouth! So I returned for an early evening meal. Food service is... More

Got a little lost trying to find the place, but it was well worth following up with this little place I found on trip advisor. Menu is only in Italian, but they help with great attitude when deciding what to eat and drink.

We went to Cantinetta dei Verrazzano after a long day in the Uffizi Gallery to sit and grab a bite. The atmosphere is fantastic! The rosé wine, divine! But the focaccias didn't meet our expectations; they were OK, but nothing really special there. I regretted I didn't have dessert though, they looked so good!

When I think back to our trip to Florence, there are a handful of meals that truly stand out and this is definitely one of them. We had the most excellent lunch here. Upon a recommendation from a local, we went in and had them choose a variety of stuffed foccace for the table (we were there with our children... More
