Delicious!

We visited Zeb on a rainy Sunday afternoon, which meant that it was fortunately very quiet. We ordered the zucchini ravioli and spaghetti ragu, which were both incredible. There's no english menu, the only written menu is outside and it is in italian. The main dish costs around 10€. A guy comes to you tells the menu like a robot, no pause no questions allowed or else you get a nasty look.Nothing but money would have convinced him to offer us a smile, he was cold and unwelcoming... I love the concept, very focused on the food. Alberto explains the menu and selects wine pairings. Loved the pastas, but ordered too much and my dining companions were too full to help me with second courses. I understand the comments about Albert's attitude, but I think it reflects his passion for his craft and people like him are often... More

I chose this restaurant for lunch after traveling from Rome and checking into our hotel. It is located not far from the Ponte Vecchio and Michelangelo Plazza. We were lucky to be the second party after it opened at 12 noon. Soon afterwards, there was a wait for stools. We were greeted by the friendly staff immediately upon opening the... More

My wife and I travel to Italy every year and one of our favorite places to visit is Florence, Zeb was recommended to us by some Italian friends last year so we decided to make reservations on a Friday evening. Upon our arrival we found the owner's demeanor to be less than welcoming and that was enough for us to... More

A friend recommend us to go after seeing the sun set at Piazza Michelangelo and we did. There are some restaurants there so the vibe is good. There is only high bar stool to sit on in this modern, clean restaurant. We had spagetti with truffle oil and it was very simple but tasty dish. We also have the roast... More

We rarely go to a restaurant a second time in one week--we had to stop ourselves from going there 3 times it was so amazing. If you desire fresh pasta, in an intimate modern setting in a beautiful part of Florence than I highly recommend Zeb. The wine that was recommended was fantastic as well and I can't even describe... I have a rule when I travel abroad: never go to the same restaurant twice. I broke that rule at Zeb not once but twice. I rate this near the top of list of excellent dining experiences, and I've been lucky to have many. The food is fresh, perfectly prepared, plentiful, absolutely delicious...and...somehow they manage to offer it at an... More

We had an amazing lunch at Zeb on the south bank of the Arno near the Abbey de San Miniato. The food was very fresh, high quality and delicious. Modern take on classic Tuscan dishes. There are no tables, everyone sits at the counter and the staff recites the menu to you when you sit down. The menu changes everyday,... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
