A local directed us to this restaurant and it was amazing.... no menu - and that was great with us - every item was great especially the ravioli with pear and the meatballs! On the "other side" of the Arnos at the base of an ancient medieval wall.... Toured the hillsides and then stopped in here for lunch - really,... More

This was the most amazing pasta EVER! Seriously, just go and experience it. Mother and Son team, who create some amazing dishes tucked away in the south corner of Florence, just over the Arno. We had the courgette flower ravioli - it was delicious - words cannot describe the parcels of heaven. They were so nice to us and the... More

This mother son store restaurant makes an ideal change from a traditional restaurant. We sat at a booth next to a couple from Italy. We shared conversations and a lovely dinner out! You order from a blackboard and although not printed, explanations in good English were provided and then re-explained on request. Reservations are required! I only needed one dish... More

What to say... The place looks nice, feels cozy and sort of intimate... but... there is no printed menu! I'm sorry Mr. Owner but not every world citizen is familiar with all the dishes. Their English is not the best and when he recited - NOT EXPLAINED the dishes- it left me more confused than before I had entered. I... More

This restaurant was recommended by a cooking instructor in a little cooking class that my family and I took. There wasn't a printed menu, we were ver.bally told what was available. Dishes such as ravioli stuffed with zucchini flower were some of the highlights. The recommended wine pairing, a Dievola Chianti Classico, was great.

So, I just have to share this because it's awesome. I went to Zeb because I was craving pesto pasta, hadn't had it yet in Florence, and read reviews specifically raving about Zeb's pesto. I sat at a counter opposite the kitchen, where a woman who turned out to be the owner served me. She spoke no English, but asked... More

Not your ordinary Italian pastas. We had ricotta cheese ravioli stuffed with zucchini flowers and a light cheese sauce, ricotta cheese ravioli with caramelised pears and truffle oil spaghetti. All were very interesting, tasty and filling. Go when you're hungry after visiting the Palazzo Michelangelo so you work up an appetite for primi and secondi! Worth the walk!

This was a great meal, the staff was excellent. I had the tagliatelle tartufo and the polpo salad. Both were great. The house red wine was very nice. I recomend Zeb if you're in Florence.

Great place on the south side of the city , modern, clean and great menu choices ranging from filled ravioli pasta to meat board selections all freshly sliced. The wine selection was excellent and the server suggested a glass of Bolgheri to go with our pasta dish and I have to say both were excellent . For you wine lovers... More
