Great meal and amazing value

We really loved this place. Buzzy atmosphere, friendly service and excellent food - my Osso Buco was brilliant and my wife's spaghetti with prawns and liquorice was also great. Thoroughly recommended. And not expensive either - €80 or so, and we had a glass of prosecco each to kick off, a bottle of... read more

This was our last lunch on a nine-day vacation in Florence and one of the most memorable. Since they are most known for their dinner service, lunch is usually a smaller menu, and since we were there during Christmas week, probably smaller yet. However, both my husband and I enjoyed our food--everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and innovative. Reservations are... More

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a great dinner on our first night in Florence. Excellent bottle of wine (with a helpful recommendation from our waiter), and beautiful food. Great atmosphere, highly recommended. Make sure you book in advance, it is very popular!

The restaurant is central located, hip locals eat there, and nicely decorated. Food is "creative". Not your typical Italian and pretty good. A bit pricey but it's worth it. Only problems? A bit loud and is difficult to get a table, so reserve in advance.

The ambiance was young, hip, and really happening. We had reservations at 10 PM and the restaurant was packed. They had great food, great service, and a happening vibe. We started off with a cheese plate and house wine. Both excellent choices. For our entrees, we had the Pici al Monotone (a pasta dish with lamb) and the Burrata with... More

Slightly off the beaten track in the Oltarno district of Florence, Il Santo Bevitore provided us with one of our best meals in Florence. It's a busy restaurant so you should book in advance. Nice setting and busy, high energy vibe throughout. A bunch of classic dishes and few twists. We opted to kick off with some cheeses. The selection... More

My fiance and I found this restaurant by Rick Steves' recommendations. It's beautiful inside, decorated with dark mahogany wood and wine bottles. We had a drink at the bar and then ate by the window. The cheese plate was delicious and our entrees were amazing. This was my fiance's favorite meal during our trip to Italy.

We liked the ambiance so much at lunch we went back the next day for dinner. Bevitore was recommended to us by our concierge and we decided since we were on the other side of the Arno we should try it for lunch. We walked in and luckily they had space. The place was packed with locals and business people... More

Authentic tuscan with a younger, modern take. You won't find the old school atmosphere here but a younger vibe. It's always packed (with locals which is of course a great thing) and delicious. The menu is entirely Italian but of course they all speak English. It also has a great sister bar Il Santino which is great while you're waiting.... More

Service: We arrived at this restaurant exactly when it opened (with reservations) and it filled up instantly. Even though several tables were seated at once, our server Francesco answered every single one of our questions with patience and enthusiasm (and we had quite a number of questions given the unique menu). As the night went on and most of the... More
