We saw that the place was full of Italian people and thought this cant be bad. It wasn't! Great traditonal Iltalian food. Lively atmosphere. When we left we actually saw a line of italinas waiting to be seated.

Great food and a lively atmosphere in traditional surroundings. seems very popular with local diners. We ate here on a Monday night and the restaurant was full! The food was excellent and good value, thoroughly recommend.

Good service, but is the same pasta I can make at home. Very poor lasagna as well. Maybe you should try the meat and see if you're lucky

I was recommended by a local colleague to try this restaurant on a business trip to Italy last year; it was just outstanding. The food was absolute top drawer and the service and ambiance even better. It is a must if you are in Florence and right in the heart of the city. You must book and can just turn... More

This place is crowded at lunch. Noisy, surging, most tables full during lunch hours. This is exactly what you want to see when selecting a place for lunch in Florence. The service is quick. The food tasty and plentiful. The price, surprisingly low when you consider location and quantity. On this day we started with the typical Crostini di legato... More

1. The bistecca was... overcooked! 2. The bill was outrageous (in comparison to better restaurants at the other side of the river). 3. The queue is huge. What is more, you can't book: you have to go there, give your name and wait outside for about one hour for the waiter to call you. 4. Note that don't the waiters... More

We went for lunch, since this place had good reviews and was around the corner from our apartment. We were all tired and just wanted a good, friendly meal but we got a rushed, annoyed meal instead. The food was decent, nothing to write home about. They do not have a high chair, which is fine, so they gave us... More

I was told that "You must have Bistec A la florentine ". This is a T Bone steak thick cut 2-3 inches thick! So we did... Wow I was so underwhelmed and unimpressed. It is ordered rare. And came with nothing but 2 mouthfuls of arugula and shredded carrots (salad). We also had the meat lasagna (average) and chicken and... More
