Fresh pastries for breakfast

4 delicious pastries, fresh orange juice, a caps vino and cafe latte were the perfect breakfadt on the go before visiting the Uffizi. Serve was efficient and friendly. A nice place in the morning that everyone should try

Excellent food. Affordable. Very nice service. The staff were kind and professional. I had a very nice pizza with salad and a drink for 12 euros.

I've lived in Florence for a few months and have yet to find another cafe that I like more than this one. My friends and I eat breakfast here every morning where you can grab a quick cappucino or coffee, as well as a delicious pastry from a huge selection. During lunch the staff serves you from an ever changing... More

My friend and I were attempting to find two other restaurants on Borgo Degli Albizi that were highly-rated on TripAdvisor, but could not find them. We had passed this place on our search and being very hungry, we gave up our search and backtracked to check out this place. We were not disappointed. I had an excellent panini, lightly-crisp with... While walking through the streets of Florence, I spotted one of my favorite pastries. I had a delicious cannoli that my wife and I both enjoyed. This shop is in the heart of Florence where you could eat inside or outside.

After 3 days in busy and expensive Venice, we arrived in Florence tired and hungry. As soon as we checked into the hotel we went on the look out for a place to have some food and drink. What luck to find this place ! Relaxed atmosphere, tasty food and lovely drinks !! They have a huge selection of delicious... More

Decided to pop in for a snack because it seems like a deal - pizza, salad and a drink for 10 euros. It was okay, While the flavorings on the pizza were good, the crust was not - perhaps like much Florentine bread, there was no salt in it - so the crust was dry, and rather tasteless. The service... The wife and I had a very nice breakfast (12 euro total) of mozzarella & ham sandwich and 2 pastries plus tea & cappuccino. The food was excellent. We sat outside and watched the world go by.

This is a gem of a pastry shop in the heart of the shopping district of Florence. Lovely atmosphere with tables inside and out (in the summer) and a bar to stand at if you are trying to be like the locals. Great pastries and coffee. Highly recommend as a great way to start the day.

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
